What Gun Product Would You Like To See Introduced?

I would love to see a .22lr version of the Keltec PMR-30 or something similar. Pretty much a .22lr pistol with a double stack magazine and capacity >20 rounds (preferably 30). Oh, and a threaded barrel.

A brass magnet would be nice for finding empty cases in the grass.

+1,000!!!! that would be the single best invention ever! my front yard always seems to be hungry when i go shooting and i end up loosing almost half my brass unless i watch it fall and go get it after each shot.

now make that brass magnet about 4 feet wide and make a hitch to mount it onto the front of your lawn mower with an intermittent scraping feature that periodicly wipes the collected brass into a side-mounted bucket! shoot all morning, mow in the afternoon, and grab the brass bucket when you go inside. wouldnt life be grand!?

I'd like to see something sort of like the Xbox Kinnect system, that could be used for dry-fire practice. For those not familiar, the kinnect lets you control certain games with out a controller, it reads your body movements. I think something like that could be useful, at most it might require a small marker that would fit in the end of the gun with an arbor kinda like the laser boresighters use. I'm thinking not only could it show you where you're hitting, but it could also capture your movements so you could play back and watch your drawstroke and maybe even show you how you're jerking when you squeeze the trigger. Dry-fire is good but this way you could have some feedbeck if you don't have a partner to watch and critique you.

Rimfire that is possibly the best idea for a new gun product I have heard all year. If it could work when turned sideways, or with your back to it, it would be nearly perfect.

I have no idea if it's plausible or even possible but i'd like to see an ar15 upper with carrier rails and a carrier to move along them for use with piston system.

Personally I would like to see a good strong (probably steel) multi-station (non-progressive) reloading press

i would like a printed guide(book) that say what each kind of powder solvent is good for, witch are strongest, what oils are good for what guns, how to clean certain guns in the most effectively, like a reloading manual, but for cleaners and oils

and id like to see a real semi auto version of the magpaul fmg-9, that i could buy

and, an electronic magazine loader

One for the X Box 360 could probably be done for less than $1,000 dollars though. It could be done for less than $200 with all of the accesories.

It is kind of like my wish for a "gun dishwasher." Something similar exist but the technology is available from other sources cheaper. It just doesn't exist yet.

I mean, if I can get an ultra sonic jewelry cleaner that works well for $50 why should one large enough for a gun be $700? It isn't 12 times the size or twelve times the capacity.

The SCATT system is nice, but outta reach for a lotta folks, me included right now. and as far as I can tell it doesn't analyze your motions during the draw. The Kinnect already has software in place that does just that. MikeNice is right, it shouldn't cost more than $200-$300, that's the price for the best Xbox out there with the Kinnect setup. Figure they'll tack on an extra couple of bills because it's being marketed to the gun crowd, and it still should come in at no more than $500.

I'd like to see Crimson Trace come out with a green laser for S&W X frame revolvers that still has all the padding of a Houge monogrip. This would make a revolver far more effective in a dangerous animal encounter since shot placement is so important, you don't have much time to aim in those situations to begin with, and follow up acurate shots are difficult with an X frame due to the recoil. Not to mention you would be in a panic. A green laser that is visible during the day would be of great benefit.

My list is related to the M14/M1A.

1. An insert that would allow 22lr to be fired through an M1A/M14.

2. ARMS needs to bring back the #18 mount in split rail option with built in stripper clip guide.

3. 7.62x51mm at 24 cents per rd or less.

4. A tritium front sight post for SEI's "hooded gas lock front sight.

Off the top of me ole noggin....

Ruger needs to re-introduce a 10-22 chambered in 22mag.
