Dream rifle if you had an unlimited budget?

I'd definatly want the "rail gun" from the movie "eraser" nothing like and electromagnetically charged chunk of alluminum flying at the speed of light w/ an X-ray scope that self targets on the beating heart of a human being!!!!

Realistically though... I'd want Carlos Halfcock's M14 sniper rifle.

I'd have to go with the Vulcan cannon they put in the A-10 Warthogs. A couple of those would look great mounted to the sides of an old converted school bus.

Operating within reason...

A 20x102mm Anzio mag-fed. Add a suppressor, an extra magazine, and reloading equipment for the cartridges(including AP bullets).

Hello all,
I would take several.

I also like the 35 caliber so I would make something that could sling a 220gr. bullet at about 3000fps or so.
It might exist already in the Shooting Times Alaskan or Westerner, I don't know but it sound doable.

Surviving as a left-handed person in a right-handed world has left a large chip on my shoulder.
If I had unlimited funds I would hire a craftsman to produce a one-of-a-kind .22 sporter rifle for me.
It would be a lefthanded bolt with a buttstock-fed tubular magazine (like the Nylon 66) holding shorts, longs, and long rifle ammo.
It would also be stainless with a synthetic stock.
To the best of my knowledge there hasn't been a lefthanded .22 bolt rifle with a tubular magazine produced since at least the 1940's.

Hmm... So many things but I don't know what I'd go with...
I really like AK-47's. I would love to have a full auto AK-47.
I'd also cry a little if I could buy a SCAR 17 in full auto.

This is the hardest choice that I will never get to make.

If I couldn't find a Win. 52D in new condition,
I'd probably get a Rem 40X chamberred in 260 rem.
I think a 40X would clean the whole target in the new Centerfire Match here at THR.

Barrett M82A1 with an AN/PVS-10 day/ night optic.

But being a lefty, I'd have it customized with a left side ejector.

I'd have it set up with quick change barrels and bolts for .50BMG, .338 Lapua, 7.62x51, 12gauge, 20 gauge, 5.56x45, 9mm, .45ACP and .22lr

I think that would cover about all my needs.

So many come to mind. That which I almost submitted yesterday has changed by today.

One of the Garands my father was issued during his Army days comes to mind, and tends to stay there. This is, of course, not so much a financial obstacle as being a matter of finding the information, and locating the Garands, wherever they may be presently located.

Otherwise, a fine British double, probably chambered in the rimmed 375 H&H. The reading I have done, since my youth, from Hemingway to Kipling to Taylor to Boddington, is to blame for the British double rifle part, and the infirmities of age account for the cartridge choice in the medium range.

I would like a Ma Deuce, serving the US for over 3 generations. You used to be able to build them for 4 to 5 grand, plus $200 for a tax stamp.

Next to that, I'd like a nice Ruger #1 in .223 varmint barrel, with a Nikon Monarch 6-18X
