Congrats on the 'Ghost'. My 92FS Inox is my best shooter. The longer you have it the more you will probably like it. You may want to consider putting in a D or Wolff 16# hammer spring - dramatically improved my accuracy.
Thanks, maybe I will - though it certainly is accurate now - but can't get TOO accurate now can it..Congrats on the 'Ghost'. My 92FS Inox is my best shooter. Thanks, very nice of you and all to post!It is a beautiful gun! I would like one! Congrats!
yeah. that was a fun thanksgiving weekend.wwwprof said:The D spring comes from Beretta; the 16# from Wolff is supposed to be the equivalent. I have the Wolff in mine. Pretty easy to change out unless you have the Italian version (which I do) with the roll pin. Pain to get out. Replaced that with the Beretta USA version pin and is now much easier when I want to replace the spring.
Using a magnet you will be able to tell what parts are aluminum alloy and what are stainless steel.
Like shooting a .22. Very reliable also: average reliability at Beretta USA 17,500 rounds with no stoppages. The army conducted a test of Beretta 92Sf: 10 shooters: 168,000 rounds with no stoppages (test ended at that)Congrats on a nice find. I found a nice 92fs in INOX form a while ago as well. A beautiful gun, one of the softest shooting, extended range time friendly guns I've ever used. I'd like to try those Hogue grips, I imagine they make the gun that much more user friendly.
