I'm 23 and I carry a Kimber Pro Carry II.
I carry a 1911 because of it's slim profile. With my thin stature a revolver's cylinder or a double stack magazine usually makes the gun too thick.

I'm 25, and carry a CZ PCR. Does that count as 'modern/polymer' or '1911/HP'? It is essentially a Browning design, and originally done closer to the BHP hayday than Glock's....

I am age 49, and when out of police uniform, usually carry revolvers concealed. (My mandated duty handgun is a DA .40 autopistol.) It is possible I will revert to mostly carrying a 1911 someday, but for now, I like my go-to handguns to have DA trigger pulls. I just don't have enough time to train properly with too many weapon systems.

I am 25 and carry a Glock 23. I just switched over from a Ruger Sp-101 because I couldn't shoot it very well. I haven't found a revolver yet I can shoot accurately, DA or SA.

What about an option for those of us who are under 21 but carry? There are several states that issue licenses to those under 21 and several more that let those under 21 carry if they're a licensed non-resident.

If this is the case just vote in the 21-29 group. I just made the category based on my state. You have to be 21 to get a cdwp here, also to buy a handgun/or handgun ammo from a ffl dealer here you have to be 21.

Very good poll! I'm 24 and carrier either a Kahr CW9 or M&P9c in a MTAC IWB holster. I'm to broke to afford a 1911 but would be willing to carry a champion sized 1911 since I wear a sportscoat everyday.

73.
I prefer to carry a Kimber Ultra but due to the way I dress during the long hot summer I usually carry a pocket pistol like the Ruger LCP or Ruger LC9.

You did not put a 18 through 20 age group, there are certain states that allow you to start carry at age 18. For example Montana and Vermont both allow you to carry at age 18. The reason I am bringing this to your attention is that I am 20 but put 21 through 29 with revolver. I just got it a Smith 638 :D.

74 next month and still in my right mind, or as close to it as I ever was.

I'm now pocket carrying a Keltec .380 summer and winter, but I hope to change that by next winter. If I'm still on the top side of the dirt by then I'll probably be carrying a Ruger LC9 if I can find one at a reasonable price, if not probably a Keltec PF9. If I get either of the little 9mm guns it will replace the .380 for both summer and winter carry, but I'm keeping the .380 as a BUG for certain occasions beyond my control when I have to travel through the south side of metro Atlanta.

No options listed for me to choose from.

I'm 31, and carry a polymer pt145 for summer, and 1911 in winter.

32, and I carry revolvers exclusively. They are for me the most instinctive, natural handguns to use.

I used to carry a 1911 in my 20s, but it became finicky and it has been parked in my safe for a couple of years. I'll probably carry it again one day, once I get it up and running.

I'm 28 and carry poylmer framed guns sometimes one of my revolvers or even my 1911 sometimes it depends on how i am dressed or how i feel that day.

Like probably a majority, I own more than one, so multiple choice would be indicated. Usually a Commander-sized 1911, but a 2" revolver at times.

I'm 22 and carry an HK USP 40 Compact. Every once and a while I will carry my wife's Taurus 357 Mag snub with concealed hammer. Once while I was deer hunting I went into town and carried a Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag with a 7.5" barrel, not easy.
