I'll be bringing discount coupons for Dairy Queen... :D

As for pistols, I'll most likely be bringing a Ruger Super Blackhawk, a Springfield XD-40 Tactical and a couple of my CZs.

Looking forward to meeting all of you on Sunday!

I'll try my best to get there, I'd say 70% chance that I'll be able to attend.

If I come I'll be toting a S&W performance center case, an ammo case filled with 357 target loads and probably wearing carhartt or camo pants and victorian style glasses. Hope I can make it :D

I'd be down for DQ, though technically I'm on a diet ;)

I'll have my Colt Gov't, a S&W 442 and a Browning Buckmark for sure.

I may bring my Kahr P40 (which is for sale, BTW) and, if the wife grants permission a Colt Python.

Whatever I bring, others are welcome to shoot with the understanding that I am a reloader. I certainly don't expect you to shoot my handloads, and wouldn't use my own handloads in anyone else's firearms. I'll buy a box or two of range ammo for that.

And anyone who doesn't want their brass is welcome to drop it in my bag. :D

neat, I didn't think there would be any TMBG fans on a gun board :D

I'll also bring some labels incase people want nametags. Also, has a reservation been confirmed? It can sometimes be crowded on sundays...

Yup, its in the south metro.

Man I'd love to attend but I really need to get some more IDPA in before the qualifier. Here's to hoping for a second THR shoot! :D

I will most likely be there. Can't miss a shoot like this!

Not sure what I am bringing, but may my bring my Para .40 - which I haven't shot in a while - or one of my .45's.

I'll have my Colt Gov't, a S&W 442 and a Browning Buckmark for sure. I may bring my Kahr P40 (which is for sale, BTW)

If you bring that Kahr I'd really like to take a look at it. I was looking into buying a Kahr and a 442. :D What are you asking for the Kahr? PM me off list if you like.

What to Bring???

Hmm let me think about what I am bringing. It sounds like we can only bring pistols. Thats fine because I need to practice more with my pistoles.

  • Steyr M9
  • Steyr M40
  • Steyr S40
  • Ruger P89
  • Ruger Security Six

It turns out they DON'T reserve space on weekends. So it's first-come-first-served. Come early!

Mpayne, were you able to make a "reservation" at the BPR? Given the number of us going, it might be a good idea to give Roger there a "heads-up" just in case he needs to institute some crowd control measures. If you want, I can give him a call tomorrow to find out how informal group events like this are usually handled at the range.

Since we'll most likely be handling and shooting each others' firearms, I would respectfully like to suggest that finger ornaments like rings be taken off to eliminate the chances of the guns getting scratched while being handled.

I also think the name tags are an excellent idea! Older folks like me tend to have difficulties remembering names.

If all goes well, it looks like we'll all be having a jolly good time socializing and sampling various firearms at the Shoot.

TheeBadOne: Sure, it would be nice to meet you in person, not that I consider you a JBT. You said it, not me.

sturmruger: You can bring rifles in pistol calibers. Check their website for exact calibers allowed.

Mpayne: are you still going now that babypayne is here? Congratulations by the way.

I hope you guys have fun. I'm busy over by Willmar and can't make it this time. I'd love to make it.

A little more advance warning makes it easier to plan around.

Good luck.

I'll still be there. Mrs. Payne says it's fine.

TBO is, of course, welcome, provided he tries not to step on our toes with his jack boots. :)

Yes, it was short notice, but we'll have more shoots soon.

If we like this range, I guess we'll do a weekday night so we can reserve space. Otherwise, we can try Bill's, which does have group rates.

See everyone there!

Is the machine gun (M1917?) still on the floor right where you walk in?
It used to be on the floor in the "lobby" area for the longest time, but Roger's moved it to the top of the vending machine.

hell...just woke up at quarter to two. Won't be able to make this one I guess  Bit of a late night last night. :banghead:

Have fun you guys !!
