Haha, awesome.

Look at 0:36, the concussion from the muzzle kicks up the dust 8 feet in front of you.

You are a man among boys sir!

lol, glad to see folks not taking themselves to seriously at those shoots.

So what hurts more, your wrists or your wallet?

Neither.

The entire match was only 60 rounds. I shoot that gun quite a bit so I'm used to it. I usually only shoot 20 rounds at a time since I have a tendency to flinch a bit after that.

Luckily I reload with lead bullets so it only costs me 25 cents a round.

Did they allow you to shoot single shots on paper rather than double taps because of the extra power?

i asked this on youtube but i should have just asked you here. is that the emergency kit gun or did you buy the organe grips? i reload this round to i have the 4inch model once you get use to the recoil the gun is alot of fun

Didn't ask. Just wanted to see how I could do with it.

It's the Emergency Survival kit gun. I've got the case with the fire starters, compass, chainsaw, etc. Took me a while to decide between that and the 4 inch. I think the orange grips did it for me.

The match results are in. I placed 51st out of 57 in the match. The stage in the video was my best and I placed 39th there. Not bad when you consider all but one of the people I beat were shooting autos.

Cool!

That looks like fun! Which is what USPSA/IDPA is all about. I liked the big fireball muzzle blast the best!

I can see it now. New USPSA qualifier named Rampaging Elephants. Production autos would be like taking a BB gun to a gun fight.

So what kind of power factor are you actually generating (bullet weight and velocity?)

Bullet weight is only 340 grains. I'm loading it with 40.5 grains of H-110 which according to my reloading book should be around 1850 fps. Adjusting for the shorter barrel figure 1600 (Sadly I don't have a chronograph yet).

Power factor would be 540.

Wow. Most important question though, did I detect some kind of speedloaders being used? Please tell us where you got them!

This is the place that I bought the speedloaders from:

http://www.5starfirearms.com/50cal.html

They are super high quality and the price isn't too bad considering. I bought four so I could have enough to shoot the match.

500 s&w

Wow am I impressed, I have a 4" and shoot it quite a bit with either 320 lead or 350 plated Berrys.
But, I only use 23 grains of power Pistol
40 plus grains of H-110 You are a "he man" , that is not that far behind a factory load, you must have some real balls of fire !!
