No i didnt notify you, because i bought 500 to test and see if i like them because you guys dont send out free samples, so i bought them for testing pursposes. I didnt feel the need to contact you because you would have to change you whole manufacturing process in order to deliver what i have found other places for cheaper prices. Your lube was too hard, bullets were undersized, and were harder than advertised. So i just accepted this as a learning curve that cost me 40 bucks.
Thompson's Blue Angel is too hard? Compared to what? I have honestly not heard that Blue Angel is "too hard" before. The bullets were harder than 18 BHN? That just isn't possible with 2/6/92 foundry alloy and I have the certified analysis report from the March alloy purchase from which your bullets were made. And undersized? Our dies are .452 and can't squeeze them down any tighter than that.

I have credited your card back the full purchase price of your order. I am sorry that it didn't work out to your satisfaction.

Thank you.

Brad

Bravo Brad.

And this is why I am about to order my first ever lead bullet order and it will be from Brad. MBC stands by their product. Brad, you have earned my business and expect an order from me in the morning.

Score another for Missouri Bullet! Trust me, once you start buying them, you wont stop.

Wow what customer service.I didnt expect customer service to be this impressive, maybe I will give you another shot because i would really like to do business with someone like this. I need some 44's.

I haven't bought from brad or any other cast boolit company but given his customer support, when I do it will be from brad.
Bravo Zulu to you for being a man of your word and for fully backing you product and company.

Woody

I have shot well over 10,000 rounds of MBC bullets in 9mm, 40S&W and 45ACP and even when delivered all the way to California, the blue lube stays intact and pliable (even when shipped during cold winter). Nothing like other commercial lead bullets I have used, some with crayon like hard lube that chipped, cracked and fell apart when I got them.

As Brad posted, I have yet to come across an undersized bullet.

MBC customer service has been first class and Brad is good about resolving customer issues. Give them another try.

I have been more than happy with Brads bullets in my firearms. The only downside is I load some oddball pistol/revolver rounds and he does not offer what I need yet. I will wait for him to expand his line offered and I am sure he will get most of them into production sooner or later. I just don't see the need for him to buy molds for say 82 grain 32 RN H&R any time soon as I only buy about 300 a year these days and it is not that popular anyway.;) Now for the high volume stuff there is no comparison on the quality/price for all his bullets IMHO.:D I hope if glockky buys some more and loads them he finds a great load for his pistols. That brings up a question for you Brad. Instead of 500 of any one bullet could you offer a sample of all the sizes in that particular cal or some mix and match cal of say 100 each in 500 min QTY at a fixed price that is cost effective for you to help those like glockky try out your bullets? I know about your add a sample with a regular order and I have done that myself. With the cost of everything in general these days I can see that a new customer might not want to spring for 500 of something that he could possibly choose not use most of for whatever reason.

I have no complaints with MBC bullets. My mailman does not have the same opinion. :D Something about the 65 lb boxes.

On top of all of this, MBC ships faster than just about anybody else. I placed an order Labor Day before last, and had the order on Thursday of that week.

I didn't even expect the order to be handled until Tuesday or Wednesday.

They will continue to get my business.

True to my word, I just placed my first order with Brad and MBC, i ordered 1k IDP #1's, and since i was ordering, figured i would also order 1k 230g Softballs for good measure.

Thanks for being such a stand up guy Brad.

I just started using lead bullets recently & made my first order with MBC. I got a bunch of bullets that I didn't think was quality bullets so I started a thread on here to ask about them not stating who they came from. I got quick replies from not only Brad but other member/makers on here saying if they were theirs they would be replaced. I have no problem dealing with a mistake as long as I get good CS & the problem is taken care of but it speaks miles when they track you down to fix a problem before you have even told them there is one. I have ordered MBC bullets since from PV(because I was ordering there anyways & they gave me free shipping) & I will probably order only them from now on.

+1

Yep, he ain't no 'rock star' with some in the USPS......even as bad as they need the business.

Seedtick

:)

My last MBC order was 12,000 pcs, mostly 45ACP. My company mailbox has a lockbox for packages. Pulling into the driveway one afternoon I knew my bullets had been delivered. The whole mailbox was leaning.

This is the reason MBC will continue to get my business....that and the quality of their work.

Jo Ann and I had already made a note to re-ship your order tomorrow after we received your email this afternoon and I had intended to reply to it when I came in from the shop, which was just a few minutes ago and then I saw your post here.

Anyhow, in the shipping carton, you will receive a separate plastic bag containing a body part which was formerly attached to our packaging person.

I am very upset about this mistake and am very sorry that it happened. We will take care of it.

Brad

ps - fortunately for the employee, we do provide medical insurance
Even with the Holiday weekend I received my replacement order today.
Thank you Brad!
Thankfully there were no body parts included.
Although, I have to tell you, I decided to weigh a few bullets from this batch just to check.
Murphy's Law being what it is, there was ONE 203gr bullet in the box and it was the first one I weighed.
OCD kicked in and I weighed another 50 bullets which were all between 187 and 189 grains.
Thanks again.

I think getting a box of mislabled bullets would be bad enough but finding even one in the replacement box that was wrong would be unacceptable to me. If you were working up full powered loads and one bullet that was over weight by that much could cause some serious problems and maybe damge the gun or me.

I am not impressed no matter how fast the service. I would have to weigh them all to be safe and thats something I don't have time for. Just my thoughts.

Glad to hear that you've never made a mistake. There aren't many people of whom that is true, and I envy you.

As for me, I guess I feel like sometimes, you can't win for losing.

In my rush to get these bullets out ASAP, likely the 200 grain comparison bullet fell off the shelf into the shipping box. I shouldn't have been in such a rush and waited another day, but the mail truck was sitting in the driveway. I am sorry it happened.

Brad

Its not a question of my never having made a mistake as everyone makes them.
Its a question of making the type of mistake that could cause some serious harm. Bad enough that happened with a mislabled box but worse in the fact that one or possibly more bullets in the replacement was wrong as well and had even greater potential for a serious reloading mishap.
I find that very unsettling and makes me leary of doing buisness with anyone with such problems. Just my opinion.

That's fine. Sorry we won't be getting your business. I had a whole box of random bullets queued up to ship to you :)

Brad

No Thanks, you can keep them along with your sarcasm. Your response has just convinced me and I'm sure now others as well; even further of the type of person I would be dealing with.
I guess dealing with some honest critiques is beyond you.

I buy my lead bullets exclusively from MBC. Found Brad on another forum where they were harassing him for giving a vet discount. They said he was discriminating by only offering the ADDITIONAL discount to vets. :banghead: In fact Brad led me to this site. :)

Have worked with manufacturing companies for many years. Process errors happen. Customer service (MBC) fixed. Faith restored. MBC even went above and beyond and refunded $$ from a random forum post!

I will continue to buy lead exclusively from MBC! Just MY opinion.

PS - Just don't plan any new expansions or vacations based on the qtys I order... :)

Super.45 you are now honored with having the privilege of being the first person on my ignore list.

Standing Tall , I could care less . I don't know you and don't want to know you. This didn't concern you so your ignorance is just showing.
