The aspect of this new XDm that is so attractive to me is that it's the first and only, that 'I' am aware of, polymer competition .45acp.
I really like the looks of it and if it functions as well as it should considering all the additional competition-based changes, I think it will enjoy some great success with sales and IDPA clubs everywhere will begin to see them almost as commonly as they see Glock 34's now.
Though, since factory .45 is so much more expensive than 9mm, you will only see the reloaders, or those with plenty of money for ammo, using them in competition.
There are a few floating around the internet, but I'll have to wait til I can actually get my hands on one. And if I likey, I may very well make one mine.
