Help identifying year of manf. of ithaca 37

I was wondering if someone can tell me about an ithaca 37 i recently picked up. The serial number is 638035-4 thank you.
 
go to the Ithaca home page and look at serail numbers. They have a cut off for numbers but i dont remember off hand
 
thanks for the info looks like if i'm reading it right it was made in 1956
