Who can identify these German Police Weapons?

The lower one has a Steyr AUG variant. Don't know the top one, but his pistol looks like a Glock. The knife in front of his leg holster is also by Glock.

Top looks like an HK Mp7 to me. Neat little stock on it.
+1 on the AUG, I wish i could shoot right-handed and own a bullpup style rifle :)

First one appears to be a newer variation of the Steyr TMP submachinegun

Second is a subgun version of the Steyr AUG

The pistols are Glock
Are you sure these are Germans and not Austrians??

The butt stock on the first one is interesting. Is that designed so the stock can be tucked under the armpit but still have the bore axis close to where it would normally be?

Nope. See that magazine in the pic? Its a bit blurry, but I'm pretty sure thats a 5.56 mag, not a 9mm. At least I'm pretty sure. I'd say for certain that the first is an MP7, which would be fitting.

Hope they got that cop killer.

Uh, submachineguns can be chambered in 5.56, sorry I wasn't too clear about that,,,

Looking at the top gun picture with a magnifyer and it might well be an MP7

In todays modern world saying an SMG uses pistol rounds only is a bit semantic, but OK play that way if you will.
In my opinion, SBR. or short barrelled rifle. only applies to non selective fire weapons, if it has a happy switch, it is a subgun.

Doesn't really look like an MP7 to me. The back of the receiver's too squared off, and the mag doesn't look curved.

Onmilo, on top of it being 5.56, to me the barrel doesn't look all that short when you consider it's a bullpup. Looks like it might be the full 16", but I wouldn't put it below 14. So either way you flip it, it really doesn't count as a SMG.

Also, I really have no idea what the top one is, I'd guess MP7 though if I had to choose it or TMP, back of it looks too boxy compared to the TMP.

NOO3k, again, the more I look at the pictures with a magnifyer, you might be right that the AUG is a 16" rifle.
It does sport a bipod and some kind of weapon light on the right side.

The pictures are really too blurry and unfocused to give a definitive answer,,,

^ SMG's use pistol caliber rounds.

You had better tell Zastava they are doing it wrong.

Colt too, since they have been calling their "Commando" series submachine guns for decades now.....and the Army, since they don't know what they are talking about either.
The Army purchased 2,815 Model 609 CAR-15 Commandos on June 28, 1966, which were officially designated Submachine Gun, 5.56 mm, XM177E1

The stock is so that the weapon can be shouldered while wearing a riot helmet with a face shield.

B&T has made stocks like that for just about every single H&K weapon out there for the European police market.

Just to be pedantic: A submachinegun by definition, fires pistol class cartridges.

The semantic problem is that there isn't a good word for the chopped assault rifles that have driven the subgun to near extinction. PDW, carbine, ???

I believe that PDW is the new popular term for such a weapon. Most guns marketed as PDW's are typically submachine gun size, but use either a propriety round that fits somewhere between a pistol cartridge and a 5.56, or a gun such as the Magpul PDR which is chambered in 5.56 and uses M16 STANAG magazines.

I think the term is either SubCompact Assault Rifle or PDW.

I think of PDWs as being submachinegun class weapons firing a pistol cartridge, even if that 'pistol cartridge' didn't originate in a pistol, like the FN 5.7x28 or the HK 4.6x30.

Personally, I use 'carbine' to describe short rifles, even those intended to be PDWs, like the Krink.

It ain't like these terms are written in stone or anything.
