MIne was never 100% with Blazer for extraction..but Blazer Brass and any other ammo ran right through it.


Be sure sure to check with CZ-USA about the nickle plated 75B mags they have these days.

That's some shiny steel...I was just contemplating ordering a polished chrome RIA 1911 in .38 super just to have a shiny pimp gun like that.

If it's the same as my 75B, it's not polished but like a satin finish.

Nice gun. I would not buy all steel handgun that wasn't stainless. The high polish is nice as any marks accrued can be removed with Flitz metal polish.

I would almost consider the Kadet slide a "must have" if you have a CZ 75 variant. Mine has run exceptionally well and it hasn't given me a problem yet with several thousand rounds through it. The Kadet is a very solid .22lr to begin with and it lets you take advantage of any custom work you've had done to the gun you're mounting it on. The result is that you can get an exceptionally nice .22lr for a very small cost.

The one thing I will point out is that while you can reliably lighten your trigger using a light main spring (13lbs or less) with an extended firing pin in the 9mm slide, that same light main spring can cause light primer strike misfires with the Kadet slide. That said, I've found that my Kadet runs reliably on my Shadow's frame with federal target match in the 325 round boxes, even with a very light main spring. On the other hand, my 75B LE can run the Kadet reliably with just about any brand of ammo. Just something to consider if you're exploring options to lighten up your trigger.

As Bozwell said, I would also consider the Kadet kit a must have. I have many .22LR handguns of all sizes and this configuration is one of my favorites. I actually purchased the gun and the kit together just to set it up like that after shooting someone elses.

I shoot it so much I modified a HKS 940 speed loader to work with the Kadet magazine.

My Kadet Kit spends a lot of time on one of my 75Bs.

Absolutely love those polished 75's. Don't get me wrong, my BD is a fantastic firearm but that shine brings out the Bluejay in me.

On a side note I took my new 97b out to the IDPA range today for some practice. Everyone thinks this is a bigger gun than the 75, but it's not. The dimensions are almost exactly the same. Only the LOP is a bit longer, and it weighs more. It felt like an old friend, hitting every steel the first time, even the smaller ones.

Get the adj. rear and FO front sights, put it in a glass cover case with dark walnut frame, hang it on the wall over the fire place and take pictures.

My 9mm plain-Jane 75b is my favorite pistol, but wish it had the higher beavertail the stainless version has.

Re: Kadet Kit

Some years back, I had a Ruger Target Competition in stainless. Long, slab-sided barrel. Shot beautifully.

I later got a kadet kit for my collection CZs, and eventually traded that Ruger away -- as the Kadet Kit was just as accurate. (Yes, it's really THAT good.)

I still have a .22 Ruger, but won't give up the Kadet kit until my last CZ is gone -- and I don't expect that for a long time.
