First gun I saw was a Benelli look alike, albeit pump, made by Stevens. Price was mid $200s.

They said they were going to post more, but I haven't seen any.

Check out the new Trophy Hunter XP packages. These come with a 3-9x40 Nikon BDC scope, which is a considerable upgrade over previous packages we have offered. It is completely compatible with Nikon's proprietary Spot-On ballistic software. We anticipate actual sales prices to be $499 to $599 for the blue/syn, $549 $649 for blue/wood and $599 to $699 for stainless/synthetic. Check with your favorite Savage dealer

Here's Cathy with the Rascal. You've seen other micro-sized guns but not one like this. It is safer (manual safety, accutrigger and can be unloaded without pulling the trigger). It's easier to use (feed ramp, cocks on bolt lift) and it's more accurate (accutrigger, adjustable peep sights)

This is the new Stevens Model 320 Security pump. It features a pistol grip stock, rotary bolt and Ghost Ring sights. Suggested retail is $260. Stand by. Still more new products to come.

The shotgun looks promising. Anyone know how the bolt operation works? Is it like the Winchester speed-pumps where it unlocks on firing, or is it like the 870 and 500 guns where you have to let go of the trigger to cycle the action. Im glad to see they put the safety infront of the trigger where it belongs.

How about some more interesting stocks on the F class guns? How about an all black stock as well?

How about a heavy Tactical rifle in 6.5mm BR? How about a heavy barrel tac rifle with a bedded Mcmillan stock in Lapua Magnum.

Just some ideas for Savage.

How about a model 116 in 6.5x284 with a barrel longer than 22"?

The decision to put the shorter barrel on a caliber like that was absurd. If they had put at least a 24" barrel on them I would have bought that instead of my 260. Oh well I guess, bought a Savage 6.5 either way, and it's a shooter as they all are. Could have been worse, they could have used a 1 in 9" twist like other companies. Like other people here I jumped the big green Remington ship and wound up in a sea of Savages. I'm glad they have embraced the 6.5's.
