What is your oldest made gun in inventory?

You mean a rifle I would think since this is the rifle forum.

For me it would be a couple of Chinese T-53, Mosin-Nagants. They were made in the mid 50's if I remember right. I want to say 1954-55...

If you just mean any gun, it would be this Colt Army-Special in 38 Special. Made in 1917.

I have and use a 50-70 Trapdoor from 1866. I had seceral Colt revolvers from that time frame also but sold them to folks who thought it was criminal for me to be shooting them. I did have a couple of pre-Revolvutionary War muskets also. My newest rifle is a Winchester 1895 from 1900, chambered for the 405 WCF.

Colt 1849 Pocket Revolver, 5 in. It was actually made in 1852. It was left to me by my grand father, but its history is a mystery to me other than that.

The _newest_ centerfire rifle I have is a 1952 Hungarian M44. :) (that doesn't count the Stevens 200 that I have on layaway. I don't own it yet. )

DA/SA, it has a trigger guard.

Look like this?

I'd say 1880s to 1900s, depending on variation and serial number. There is a sticky in the revolver section where forum member Radagast will look up your serial number and date it. Lots of good info.

Hello friends and neighbors// Some rare finds folks, 1856 Lemat deserves a nod for sure.
RhinoD let me know if you want to sell it or even rent it for a few months.

From my few,

1) Rifle-- Winchester, Model 1873, lever action, 32-20, date of manufacture is 1885

2) Shotgun-- H&R model 1900, break action, single shot, 12ga. pre 1905(as close as I can get)

3) Revolver-- Colt ,1851 Navy, 6 shot percussion revolver. .36 cal., date of manuf. 1861

4) SemiAutomatic Pistol -- Eufurt, Luger, Model 1917, 9mm, date of manuf. 1917

5) Derringer-- Remington, Elliots Patent, Ring Trigger, 4 shot, .32rf date of manuf. 1865

Each one is a history lesson in its own right.

My M1903/38 Turkish Mauser, K.Kale Ankara, 1940.

That's as far as I can tell, I have a shotgun and a .22 that's pre-1968 and don't have serial numbers and no means of placing a DOB.

According to some info I found using google, my Marlin Model 80 was made between 1934-39, so this would be my oldest rifle. And my Stevens Model 77f 20 ga. was made from 1954-71.

1777 French "Mauberg" .69 caliber Musket. I wanted a gun that we might have used in the Revolution. I also have the bayonet, which is more rare, I'm told, that is the muske GunStuff051.jpg t.

Pre- War of Northern Aggression Two Band Enfield. Sadly though, it's not in shootable condition. (Even if it was I wouldn't shoot it.)

Oldest shootable would have to be either a 1870s (don't remember the exact year) Trapdoor, or a '70s era 1873 Win., or an old Win. Low Wall (can't remember the model number) in .22short, or one of two small "gallery guns" (also limited to .22short).

I have a 1914 Mosin
A 1936 Ithica 12ga Double barrel
My first (centerfire) revolver, a 1968 Smith and Wesson 19-3 4"
My carry is a late 70's Smith 64-2 2"

Did I mention I'm 23? I just prefer 'em older I guess.
