It depends. If it is a "second generation" like the 469 referenced, no; it was top of the line at the time. If a "Value Line" like the 908, 915, 410, etc., yes, some cost cutting measures were taken, but not where absolutely critical.Is it true that the 3 digit units were designed to be less expensive for the "mass" market hence a slightly inferior (relative) item?
