I just picked up a used CZ 75B and I am now on the look out for a good leather OWB and IWB. Any suggestions. Also, I have heard that many Browning Hi-Power holsters will also fit the CZ 75. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks.

There's plenty of good holster makers that make leather for the CZ, unless your CZ is .40S&W, in which case most holster makers DON'T make one (the slides on the .40 are significantly different from the 9mm).

Here's the 9mm .....................................Here's the .40 (note the forward part of the slide)

Anyway, for specific holsters, High Noon makes some nice OWB holsters and based on the constant praise I see for them, the Crossbreed Supertuck is probably your best bet for a IWB. Ugly Bald Guy makes both IWB and OWB (9mm only) and his stuff is supposed to be nice.

The high noon Slide Guard is may favorite OWB holster.

Plenty of them for CZs at HN.

Mention me to Michael if you have questions:

And.. Thanks, for Thinking CZ:)

My SP-01 rides in a Simply Rugged Cuda, which handles it very well.

Also take a look at FIST, they make a wide variety of holsters for an equally wide variety of guns. I have 2 on the way fora different gun (haven't seen one in person yet).

I use either High Noon or HBE for my CZ-75B. I ordered a crossbreed, cut it up with a knife then relegated it to the box of holsters I use for the "what not to buy" portion of instruction, right next to the Serpas and Uncle Mikes stuff.

Eric at HBE holsters specializes in CZ.
He is an artist, I have two of his for my CZ's.

See if he can help you.

Thanks again. I will review the sites and make a selection. Now for the mags. I just realized that my pistol is actually a pre B CZ 75 so the CZ 75B mags that I ordered are of no use.

Yes, I use a Hazel rig, and he makes fantastic leather, but he got burnt out and decided to leave the game alone for a while. Maybe some day he'll be back in it, maybe not, his choice.
Also have HBE Specialty Leatherworks, (Eric) rig as well, every day use for the P-01. I hadn't heard from Eric in so long I thought he'd gone away. Good stuff. I should have been more specific - High Noon is what I reccomend for someone who cannot afford a very nice custom rig like what Eric makes.

A holster for a Beretta 92 is a perfect fit for the CZs. I use the same holster for both my 92 and 9mm and .40 CZs.

I wasn't aware of that, but I can certainly understand that. With the increase in gun sales over the past few years and how quickly the internet can get the word out about a top maker it is easy to see how one could be swamped with orders.

As much as you'd like to have a steady customer base, it's also nice to have a life.

Buttrap,

What brand of holster are you using? Bianchi, Galco, etc? I plan on getting a Beretta 92 to go along with my CZ75b, and would like to find a holster suitable for both.

Thanks,

KMD

Beretta 92 holster by Masters Leather, sold on the JBP site, is a great fit for the CZ75 in 9mm, even the SA model. The drop-downs list both guns, and always the same holster for either.

Models available include open top, paddle, retention, belt...the gamut of options.
