What caliber do you have the most guns?

I have half a dozen small 5 shot .44 Specials, 2 Bulldogs, 1 Taurus and 3 made by Rossi.

I think that I have 8 or 9 .22's. I also have 7 12GA shotguns.

$$ is the #1 limiter of my collection so far in life, at the moment most calibers I just have one of each but:

I have 6 .44 cal cap n ball black powder guns (addictive!)

I have 5 .22lrs (including handguns and long-guns, just so fun and cheap to shoot)

runners up are
I have 3 12-gauge shotguns all pump-action, (one was given to me unexpectedly)
I have two .45LC revolvers both SA (expensive to feed, but VERY fun and I look forward to getting-into reloading)

I have many of the main-stream commonly agreed upon as 'best' calibers, but only one of each so far besides those I mentioned. I believe my next purchase of a caliber that's already in my collection will be another .45acp which will make two for my collection. I am badly lusting for a Springfield M1a so that will very likely make it to my collection before another caliber I already own

It's a tie with .22 and 30 CAL. I am ashamed to admit how many .22 firearms I own now that I bothered to counted them up. Let's just say that all of the extended family have at least a rifle and a revolver/pistol each in .22 that I have "loaned" them so that I don't have to clean them all myself.:D

Checking my records I have ar least 4 firearms in most of the calibers that I reload for, the exception is 500 S&W (ONLY 2).

2-45acp
2-9mm
3-22lr pistols
2-22lr rifles
3-12 gauges
2-380acp

Wow I did not realize how many caliber copies I had. Oh well you can always use more. :D

My duplicate calibers are: 22LR - three handguns, two rifles. .380ACP - two handguns. .38 Special - two snub revolvers. .357 Magnum - two revolvers.
So, with me, the 22LR still reigns.

I'm tied at 4 between 9mm and .45 acp. I love those two calibers. 9's are fun for the range and carry well. The .45 is great for range fun as well as Home Defense.
