Just mix 10% lanolin to 90% isopropyl alcohol shake and spray.
When purchasing isopropyl alcohol always purchase 98-99% pure since it contains virtually no water.

Ok, that makes sense.
Alcohol you can get from any pharmacy.

But I've never seen lanolin for sale.
Not that I've ever looked, but where do you get it?

For pistol I've had excellent results with the alcohol mixed with a couple of "globs" of the LEE case sizing lube/water based. I use a fine spray "plant mister".

When I find my arms getting tired from from pulling and pushing the turret press handle, I lay 50 cases on a coffee container lid and give the "one" spray with this mix. I roll them around a little and let them dry for a minute or two.
The difference in pulling and pushing the handle is dramatic.

Cheap, easy to get, and one tube of the Lee lube and one bottle of alcohol lasts for umpteen thousands of cases.

YMMV

Case lube is so inexpensive and you should use so little, that making your own is something to do for fun.
Anhydrous Lanolin, I would assume?
I like the Lee and 50% water, 55% IPA, or 98% IPA. Lee, as I understand, is a re-bottled deep-draw aqueous lubricant.

lanolin can be found in the product area for women in probably any drug store. i am sure wallyworld, target, cvs all have it if you're close to one. i like to use it when i'm loading .223. i'll just dump a bunch of cases in a bag, spray 'em down good, shake the snot out of it to give 'em all a good coating, and then FL resize all of them. then off to the tumbler they go before priming and loading........

I get the liquid from one of the local hippie stores. The drug stores also sell it as nipple cream for nursing mothers.
