About Larry Vickers
Larry Vickers is a retired Special Operations Master Sergeant. His 20 years of service was spent in US Army Special Operations with fifteen of those years as a member of 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta (Delta Force). During his time with Delta Force, Larry was involved in weapons research and development and served as a combat marksmanship instructor in addition to being an assaulter.
Larry has served as a design consultant for HK, Schmidt & Bender, Surefire, and Insight Technology and is considered one of the best 1911 pistolsmiths in the country. He is a frequent guest on the history channel show Weaponology and the host of Tactical Impact and Tactical Arms.

About the class
Topics covered include: malfunction drills, shooting on the move as well as strong hand and weak hand shooting. Introduction to timed fire drills and evaluations based on class skill level. Drills are typically conducted at distances from 7 to 10 yards. Concealed carry methods are also covered.
Note that the exact course content can and will vary depending on the skill level of the participants in the class.
Requirements
Prerequisites
Participants in this class should be experienced shooters only. Participants should have an intimate knowledge of their handgun and be very well acquainted with the rules of firearm safety. No time is spent teaching students "which end of the gun the bullets come out". Participants should know how to run their gun, work from a holster, and do it safely. Safety violations can result in removal from the class without refund.
Price: $480 for two days.

- Eye & Ear protection (electronic hearing protection is strongly recommended)
- Serviceable handgun of at least 9mm Para caliber
- Serviceable holster
- Minimum 1 double magazine pouch
- Minimum of 3 serviceable magazines (5 is better)
- 800 rounds of ammo for two days – factory service type (no reloads)
- Suitable range wear depending on the season
- Good attitude

- Class will be held in northwest Phoenix at the GPS Sniper School pistol range (near Lake Pleasant Pkwy and Carefree Hwy)
- Class is limited to 20 students
- $200 non-refundable deposit reserves a slot (refund exceptions can be made for deployments or other similar circumstances)
- Remaining $280 due on the first day of the class BEFORE START. No exceptions!
