I live in a very rural area and carry a Colt 1911 in 38Super, used it this morning on a coyote. Go to town carry is a Colt XSE in 45 auto.

Been carrying Colts for a long time and have found them to be very reliable and accurate with the Super being dead on past 100 yards; most pistols don't have that first shot accuracy.

Glock 29 (10MM) with a .40 conversion barrel. :)

She will run with G20 15 round magazines as well......:D

If I could only pick one, it would be the Glock 26 with standard mag for CCW, and with a 17 round mag for HD.

#1 colt defender
#2 kimber (any model you are comfortable with reliability
#3 dan wesson 1911

I think I might have to change my gun from the Glock 19 to the Glock 23.

I bought one last week and have a 9mm and .357sig barrel on order. One gun, three calibers. All you need is 9mm mags, the .40 mags fit .357 rounds.

In the event of a SHTF/Ammo shortage emergency, 3-gun-in-1 is nice.

I picked FN, based on the FNP-40 that I own. Compared to both my Glock 17 and 22, my groups are better with the FNP. I have Colts, Auto-Ordinances, S&W's, Sig-Sauers, Walthers, and Berettas. Most of these have never been fired, so my vote is very limited in diversity.

I chose Glock. It's not my favorite (Sigs are) but I don't dislike them. The choice is driven by the fact if I conceal carry I like the capacity of the 45 ACPs.

Allaroundhunter, should I have used the ' between the name and the "s"?
No he was probably wondering why someone would buy guns like that without firing them. I suppose it's the same as buying cars and not driving them. Short of ultra rare/collectable, I also find it confusing why someone would do such a thing...
