I have a hub style blind set in an open field edge that I do not wish to remove before every spring storm blows through which is happening a lot this year! I have bought extra long tent spikes (15") to anchor the high wind tie downs on all 4 sides but I guess my next question is should I leave all of the viewing windows open to allow air through or keep it closed up? Any other tips? Thanks guys!

I'd keep it closed up.

I use a Predator Den and it holds up to wind very well. Been out archery antelope hunting in it many times with a 35-40mph wind kicking up.

keep it closed! otherwise it becomes a huge wind sock. i replaced my stock cords with some 550 cord and also upgraded to 9" tent stakes. i am also in alabama and my blind has survived the storms for two years now. KEEP IT CLOSED!

Thanks for the help guys. This time I am going to bring it in as they are forecasting severe weather and it's just not worth destroying a $200 blind. I will close it up in the future and see how it goes. Thanks agian.
