What is the last gun that you bought?

This is my first post -- this thread seemed like the perfect place to start.

Last gun purchased was a Rock Island GI 1911, bare-bones model. I like it a lot, but I don't have any skin in the '1911 v. Glock' game. It's all good.

My first post here also, been lurking here for a long time. I picked up a PPQ 9mm last week, really happy with it so far... Mike

A Lee-Enfield #4/Mk. 1, at yesterday's really large Atlanta gun show.

If anybody else in the area wants a good source for milsurps in Newnan, south of ATL, send me a note
(I have their bus. card).
The owner's attractive daughter is a mortician, and in her business they have access to nice estate sales.

I bought two recently, first is a S&W Pre-27 made in 1953, the other is a brand new Marlin 336 (.30-30). I have heard the news ones are worse than Pre-08 models. I'm not worried about it in the least.

Will update with pictures when I pick them up.

Just got a Kimber Custom Shop stainless Covert from my wife's Uncle. Pretty sweet!! 1 of only a 1000 made. Don't know how to post pictures from my phone or else I would

Three in one week: Dan Wesson Guardian 9mm, GSG .22LR and .460 Rowland drop in for my Kimber. Oh, and a muzzle break on my Model 70. Hey, it was my BD!!

Waaay down on the food chain in relation to most of what gets posted but I just couldn't pass this up for sixty bucks - "The Fully Guaranteed Single Gun" Stevens 16 gauge. i wonder if the "fully guaranteed" part will get Stevens to repair the front bead?;)

The thing is just too damn cute to have passed on and I finally have something to shoot the butt-load of 16 Ga I bought from an estate sale.

Ruger Super Redhawk, .44 mag, 7 1/2 barrel
That thing is nothing short of a stainless beautiful beast. The last time I saw one (it's one of those beauts that remains indelibly imprinted in one's memory) was around Christmas and freezing cold. We went out shooting and had many boxes of .45LC ammo with a couple of Judge's and a Ruger Redhawk. I actually felt puny and weak with my 9mm and .22lr guns but shot plenty of the .45LC that day to 'feel' the difference that very same evening. Love the Redhawk and pondered getting one around the Holidays but just couldn't swing it $$$ wise. It's on my 'wish' list for sure (most likely in .44).

-Cheers
