Is there any rifle that will shoot 7.62 x 39

i want to see if there are any Rifles that will shoot 7.62 x 39.

i don't want to get ak or sks i want it to look more like a traditional rifle.

1 My main reason for it is because of the Cheap ammo.

2 Im not sure but how accurate will it be and at what distance ?

3 mainly for pinking i may take it for hunting.

4 Are there any Rifles that i may want to look at that doesnt shoot 7.62 x 39.

Just about all of the major bolt action companies make them, also single shot break opens (if you want to go cheap).

Ruger and Savage as well as CZ make outstanding Bolt Action Rifles in 7.62x39.
Personally I would go for the CZ 527 Carbine if I had the cash at the moment. I makes for a great shooter with inexpensive target ammo and is equivalent to a 30-30 for knock down if you want to hunt with it.

I shoot a m77hawkeye in 7.62x39. 16.5" barrel, light and accurate.
It even shoots cast bullets inside 1.5" at 100yards.
Jacketed around an inch.
I have a sub sonic load with 208A-Max. Shoots just over 1/2" at 100yards. Very fun indeed!

first choice, and the one I made, would be a Ruger Mini Thirty. I had a 7.62x39 upper for my AR's but did not like that round in the AR platform so I sold it.

Cz 527. Also, just about every bolt action manufacturer makes a 7.62x39 bolt action rifle.

Well, I like my SKS, but I'll tell you how to figure this out for yourself
Go to gungenia or galleryofguns (same thing) and use the search feature to narrow it down to "rifles" and "7.62x39"

+1 this - not a Ruger fan personally but thats the ticket for a bolt 7.62x39 is there ever was one....if youre a Ruger fan

I just found out about Savage and CZ making them as well - so throw that first recommendation out the window!!!

I was never all that impressed by the Ruger Mini 30 but the new Mini 30 Tactical seems to be getting a lot of good press. Worth considering.
