Heritage big bore revolvers?

I want one in .32h& r but like you I want someones opinion that has one. My brother has one of the .22lr/.22 mag, it shoots surprisingly accurate.

I like mine, the source parts are made by Pietta of Italy, with final fit and finishing done in the USA.

Accuracy is good, mine seems to slightly favor Ultramax 250gr. "cowboy" action loads over some other brands.



I've had mine for a few years now, and never had a problem.

I have their .22 rough rider and wouldn't buy another. I'm really not impressed with the construction and engineering that went into the little gun. Keep in mind that the .32 is built on the steel version of their zinc .22 frame not on the big bore Pietta frame.

The big bore still interests me because it's a Pietta gun and it has a good transfer bar safety. But without a .45 acp cylinder available for the .45 colt model, I'm just not interested.

The big bores are good guns as they are made by Pietta. The rimfires and .32's, not so much.

Do they have that big wart of a safety on them?

^No hogshead, the Big Bore centerfire guns do not have that hideous safety on the side like the rimfires, they have an internal transfer bar safety.
