Very classy outfit.....,but if bad guy trying to rob you has one in their pocket with finger on the trigger I rate your chances as ZERO.

LoL PabloJ, Thanks for your, um, oh so wise and flawless feedback to my post.
Based on my own abilities, and the post you were compelled to make, I confidently bet that I can draw and fire a full-size / full-weight sidearm faster and more accurately than you :neener:

I just re-read my original post, and it looks like I neglected to mention my B.U.G. It's 'only' a Beretta Tomcat .32 acp (sarcasm). More than twice I've read here on THR how they are inferior to the lcp and bodyguard, but I've owned it since before those guns existed. My Tomcat has never failed to function as intended, in 600+ rounds... can anyone say that about their LCP? I'm not doubting, I'm actually just curious (I wish text had tone of voice!) It's also surprisingly accurate, I can hit playing cards with it easily at 30 feet, and I can easily empty all 8 rounds one-handed into center of mass for a softball-sized group from 25 feet. I'm not saying it's THE BEST, -I'm saying it works great for me, and i'll upgrade to something newer when the right deal finds me.

I keep it in my jacket pocket, or when no jacket, it's in my pants/shorts pocket, either way it's in a home-made pocket holster.

In PabloJ's proposed hypothetical 'Bad Guy' situation, I too would already have a proper grip on my .32 acp, and I practice with it regularly. If it came to it, "BG" would be shot. Yeah "it's only .32 acp" but it holds eight, and the 1911 would be out before the second or third casing hit the ground. I really like the range I'm a member-with, they let me practice my CCWs draw/fire :D

It's comforting to discretely and casually have a hand on my BUG anytime I want. It simply appears that my hand is in my carhartt jacket-pocket either due to the cold, laziness, or for whatever reason. Just the other day I met up with an old friend and fellow experienced-shooter for the first time in over a year, and when I told him with a smile that I had a proper grip on my B.U.G. he too smiled, was surprised, and asked me what it was.

Also... I must say! I just went through this ENTIRE thread from start to finish, and as far as I could tell PabloJ's only contributions to this thread are two posts criticizing mine and one other member's carry methods. He says nothing of his own carry method, (unless I overlooked one his posts but I did search for it!) I have absolutely zero respect for that. That behavior is just downright silly, and smells like troll feces.
If anyone finds an original post by PabloJ that includes his carry system and contributes to this thread, I will happily edit this last part of this post.

R.W. Dale- LoL I tip my hat to you sir.

Also, any "BG" that has his finger on the trigger of his pocketed gun, will probably shoot himself with that in addition to the .32 acp rounds hitting him.... I wouldn't bet my life on that, but maybe a dollar or two :D

lol, I love these hypothetical BG brain-storm sessions

(just edited to include post I am responding to)

LC9 with laser in rt front pocket , always. and a 40 gun in a fanny pak, or ccw breakaway, cargo pants. One is really a distraction for anyone sizing me up. I will hand them that one, and shoot them with the other.Hornaday 165, in the EMP, and Powerball 100 in the 9mm. I sometimes carry a 45 instead of a 40, as my 2nd gun, if so, it's a Glock 30. Mags are not an issue as I have around 20 rounds in both together. I keep a bullett wallett, about 35 years old, in the car with around 30-40 rounds of 9 and 40 in it, even a few 380's. It's my emergency stash. If I need that I am probablly already shot, and biding time. Both have night sights and one has a laser.Holsters are "sticky holsters" they stay where you put them, in your pocket or in your waist, great for driving, you can move the gun right into the waist of between the seats.

Right now I'm in summer mode, so I've got cargo shorts and a t-shirt or polo most of the time. The cargo shorts make this way easier. The only time I leave with less is for class days... For those I just have a cell phone and wallet. MAYBE a pen if I'm feeling especially scholarly.

I have two main carry options...As with anything, these are modified and changed to conform to dress code and environment suspected. I am pretty much ALWAYS armed (when allowed by law) so I have acquired many options over the years.

Option 1
Gun: Glock 19 or 17
Caliber: 9mm
Modifications: Night Sights
Sights: TruGlo TFO
Laser (if applicable): None
Ammo: Winchester Supreme Elite PDX1 JHP +P
Holster: IWB Galco
Belt (if applicable): Unknown 1.25” leather
Miscellaneous: This is my preferred method of carry. It is easy to get to, fairly easy to conceal, and comfortable. The only downside to this carry method is that sitting for long periods of time can be uncomfortable.

Option 2
Gun: Glock 26
Caliber: 9mm
Modifications: Extended Grip
Sights: Factory
Laser (if applicable): None
Ammo: Winchester Supreme Elite PDX1 JHP +P
Holster: Ankle - Galco Ankle Glove with Ankle Glove Calf Strap
Belt (if applicable): N/A
Miscellaneous: This is my usual carry method as it conceals the best, and is the most comfortable for long periods. While it is a bit harder to draw in an instant, it is easily done with practice, and more so intended to stop a threat once I have gotten to cover. I know this isn’t ideal, but that’s why I have Option 1 to wear when possible.

For the past 14 years my off duty carry and my back up on duty:
Gun: Glock 27
Caliber: 40
Modifications: extended mag catch with the edges sanded smooth
Sights:Tru Glo
Laser (if applicable): no
Ammo: 165 grn Winchester Rangers (same as issued duty ammo)
Holster: (last 7 years or so)leather Galco Scout worn appendix
Belt (if applicable): Ares Ranger or Galco leather
Miscellaneous: Pearce pinky extension on mag in weapon, +1 extension on spare mag

I have a lot of guns, but this is my old faithful........when I retire I may convert it to 9mm, but I will never be without it.

Gun: Glock 19C
Caliber: 9mm +p
Modifications: Talon grip tape, polished internals, all lower power aftermarket springs.
