My BHP has NAZI proof marks. Does that make me evil?

Guys, We aren't the ones deciding where our products are made. I hate it as much as the next guy but it's the companies and their greed for profit that decides that.

That's a good price, I bought one 4 months ago for $427 out the door. It's a great gun.

At 390$ +tax, I say go for it with out a doubt. In my neck of the woods the xd's stay between 440 and 460 depending where you go. The cheapest I've ever seen around here was 399, and that was when SA was running the "essentials package" promotion. I bought an xdsc9mm, then and I love it. I own a couple of xd's, and they are fine pistols, I've never had any sort of malfunction out of them.
If I could find any nib xd for 390, I'd be all over it.

Jorg, forgive me, it's the last thing i want to say, and i'm just fiinishing my thoughts about a comment i made earlier about ditto ditto ditto to PO2Hammer, Soldiernurse, and kenW. i have to add premier1 to that list, for sure, and i know there are names of others in this thread that have served, but i want to sincerely, having not served myself (tho i kinda did in other ways), tell you that i am honored to be amongst you all who have served our country, and kept my ass out of the necessity of having to defend my loves and my boat from the enemy. thank you for keeping a watchful eye with your service to your country and for us all.

Just purchased an XD 45ACP this week. Does absolutely I want a .45ACP pistol to do. Hate the crappy plastic holster and mag carrier. My HK45C a rest.

You'll enjoy the XD.

The XD was the best deal going when they were the $100-$150 cheaper HS2000. Finish was not great, but it's the same gun as the XD. The XD as still a great choice when it was $50-$75 less than a Glock. Now, the XD costs more in my area. So, the added money gets you the SA logo and customer service. And, no real value otherwise. I owned the XD9Tac and XD9sc. Great guns. Great grip. Great trigger. Both are gone now as I stuck with more simple Glock. I'm not a fan of the XDm.

The XD and XDM are both fine weapons and if you have one good for you. It is great that we live in a country that allows each man to make his own decision about where he wants to spend his own hard earned money. It is also a great place because we are not limited to what is or is not used by the military or police.

Generally, what the police carry is a mass bought cheaply made and poorly maintained by the company and officer. Dont buy anything just because a cop says its good, buy it because you want it and it feels good.

Croatia has been around for some time now and is going to be there for a little while longer. If someone has not been there they need to keep their mouth shut because all they are saying is based on speculation and ignorance.

Made in the USA is almost a moot point with all the products of equal value and a much better price. I dont give to spits about the unions, they are criminal in their operation and anyone who defends them is in one or has something to loose. I am neither. If you were truly interested in supporting USA you would buy a weapon that was 100% made in the USA not one that was imported and assembled here. I spent 3000 on my USA 1911 while I was deployed in combat.

If you want to spend your money on an XD thats awesome. If you shoot it well more power to you and if not we live in a country with freedom to purchase what you like. Except the communist states.

Have had an XD9SC for four years now and put 2500-3000rnds through it workout a single fail of any kind! Love the reliability almost as much as the accuracy...one nice ccw gun!

The XD's are very nice pistol, I have an XD9 Tactical and just got an XDm in 9mm also.

If SA would bring their production back to IL 100%, they'd find more sales.

I don't know why anyone would want them manufactured in Illinois. I would rather my money go to Croatia than that bunch of crooked politicos. It also ranks pretty high on the gun hating chart.

I would be very happy to have XDs made here. Illinois or anywhere in the US. I don't give a hoot about crooked or no politicians. Perhaps as the popularity of the XD line grows the company will figure out how to accomplish this. Maybe then JACKPINESAVAGES will quit his rants agin anything XD . How ya doin jackpine, you savage and my friend? Offer still stands to warm up some barrels at my club!!!
