Pistols all going out of stock?

Do you mean Uberti made BP revolvers?
It was recently mentioned elsewhere that many Uberti models are out of stock including their Colts.
If not the Uberti's, then where have you seen that the Pietta Remingtons are out of stock?

cabelas has several of their remingtons in stock, and the stock at midway has been trickling in, I think it’s just they are catching up after Christmas and filling back orders, I have been waiting for the shoulder stocks cabelas started selling for the remmie but it says now 9-10 weeks and a lot of there guns say 1-2 weeks and have said that for the past couple of months. I pretty sure it has nothing to do with the election, I am more concerned with the economy in Italy, and that no more bp gun manufactures go out of business.

Remingtons are gaining in popularity now that the Colt collectors have all that they need.
The 1858 is a great gun.

I've heard from a few friends that live in Italy and one friend from Greece that Italy's economy isn't doing a whole lot better than ours. Perhaps that's part of it?

A few months back I placed and order through Bud's (local for me) Gun Warehouse & Range for a 7 1/2" Uberti Cattleman SAA. I was told it would be a month so I waited. Well about 3 weeks in I got a call from Bud's saying it would be another 2 months but they had a Cimarron Mod P which is also made by Uberti, so I bought it. It seems that Uberti and others makers of these replica guns are really back logged for some models.

Gun sales are brisk. The makers are having trouble keeping up. We thus wind up having to wait more than usual.

If the italian economy was that bad, they be working overtime to make Pistols for us Americans. Suck up the dollars. Must be another reason.

I think the importers make ordering mistakes. For instance, anybody see the Ardesa underhammer pistol for sale in the US, supposedly, Traditions is the sole importer and if they don't order them, they just aren't brought in. Same for some of the odd Pedersoli guns. Some of the guns on their web site aren't carried by the importer except by special order.

Some importers just don't seem to give a crap. For instance Lyman could sell a bunch of their muzzleloader pistols in PA, if they were offered in Flint. I have written to them twice suggesting it.
