If the rapture happened today and all Glocks - and only Glocks - went to heaven (as they surely must)...

What pistol instead would you buy?

A Glock is my 1st choice, but not the only good gun. Of the guns in my safe I trust the Sig 226 just as much so it would be my 2nd choice. I'd also look hard at the M&P. I also own a FNP-45. I like the features, but haven't had it long enough to be 100% sure of it yet.

Wait a minute my glocks went to heaven and I'm still hanging around my LGS? I have bigger things to worry about in that scenario. Oh and a SIG P220.

I wouldnt have to buy another if my Glock were raptured as i already have my favorite alternative, SW M&P.

On a more serious note, if the rapture to people happens can i have your glocks after you leave?

Probably take the Hi-Power off the shelf. Or, if I HAD to by something else, since the BHPs most assuredly would have preceeded the GLOCKs to the streets of gold, it would probably be an XD of some sort. I had one a couple years ago and still have a few mags for them...

To replace the Glocks?

M&P. 45. Superb pistol, never malfunctions, accurate as my custom 1911s. Second choice would be their full size .40. Never really liked the .40, but that full size M&P .40 is growing on me....

what ever is similar to the Glocks. S&W maybe? no internal locks, no thumb safeties, no magazine disconnectors, DAO, small & medium guns can take the medium sized mags.....

FN FNX 9mm. Or.40 s&w. Or .45. Or Walther PPQ.

Also, would seriously consider Ruger SR9 and Sr40 sreies of pistols.

And, Springfield XDM series of weapons. And CZ. And Beretta.

Strangely enough, these are all the same guns I am considering now, and my Glock's haven't even been raptured yet!

The Glock is dangerous, and inherently evil, and thus will not be going to heaven. If I could not have one I would get a Springfield XD, I like the way it feels in my hand, and it is a good service pistol.

I would be so in such a state of morning that the Glocks were gone, but in a better place, I think the only thing that would make me feel better would be the Bill Wilson Carry Pistol. With that, I think I could make it through it.
