What are your favorite loads for .32 cal shooting. Whether it is .32 auto, 32 s&w, 32 S&W long, 32 mag, or 327 and what it used for? I use lymans 4.0 gr unique/100 gr. LRNFP for 1000 fps in 32 S&W long. This is fired in solid frame guns. Used for jackrabbits, plinking, target work. Bit much for small game like cottontails. Sub inch @ 25 yds. Use a lee .313 rb or hornady .310 RB over 1 gr. unique in 32 S&W or 1.5 gr in S&W long to bust rats at the cabin or plinking. Very cheap to shoot, no noise. Lyman 313445 a 95 gr. WC in 32 long or 32 mag. for small game and plinking/target. For the long: loads are 1.7 gr. red dot for 500fps or 3.0 gr. for 800 fps/ is a good snowshoe load. In the 32 mag: loads are 2.8 gr. titegroup about 950fps or 3.4 gr. and 3.4 gr. unique at 1120 fps. For the 32 auto lyman's 77 gr 311252 over 3.0 unique gives 1050 fps in a 5.5" revolver. THESE LOADS SHOOT GOOD IN MY GUNS AND SHOULD BE APPROACHED USING GOOD HANDLOADING PROCEDURES. THE RB LOADS ARE AT THE LOW END NOW. START THERE AND WORK UP. Have fun and bangaway.

Starline 32 H&R Magnum brass
CCI small rifle primer
Rainier LeadSafe 100 Grain Plated Hollow Point bullet
4.3 grains Unique

Recipe comes from M.D Smith's reloading pages (http://www.reloadammo.com/32hr-mag.htm)

I shoot this in a 327 Blackhawk. Knocks down metal plates at the handgun range.

I was just considering to purchase a C&R CZ-50 in .32 ACP as something for the wife to shoot. I'd be interested in the info others have regarding load data as well as preferred factory stuff.

I have a CZ70, which is the same gun other than the grips and a few other minor changes. They are great guns for the money and at least in my experience, work very well with all types of factory FMJ. I never tried hollowpoints in mine because I only use mine for plinking.

Fun guns for sure. The .32acp version of the PA63 is great too. Either can be found for less than $200 around here and both perform very well.

I have not heard of the cz-50 or 70 nor pa63 in 32 auto. Are any of these still in production? Years ago I loaded speer's 100 gr. plinker in an armi-jager 32 auto rifle. I will post the data as soon as I find it. James Bond used a 32 auto for a lot of years. Have fun and bangaway.

I cast bullets for 32 Auto, 32 S&W and Long, 32 H&R Magnum, 327 Federal magnum and 32-20. I load and shoot all of them from several different manufacturers; Colt , Walther, H&R, S&W, Taurus, Charter Arms. 32 Caliber is my favorite revolver round and I like my 60 year old Walther PP for dress up.

Everything bang away says about 4 grains of unique/32 long proves out to me. Good load.
I load 32-20 with a 115 grain commercial cast flat point for about 1000 in my Cimmaron/Uberti Model P. Nice, accurate load.
32. ACP with 60 grain gold dot hollow points really expand shot into raw brisket. My load is either 2.2 bullseye for 963 fps or 2.8 ww 231 for 1050 from a walther PP

32/ bullseye load to the left 25 acp/ 1.7 bullseye/960+ fps to the right.
Gold dots function very well in the german made pp, a colt 1906 and baby browining.

I have only ever seen cz-50/70's in .32acp. I bought mine from birmingham pistol warehouse about a year ago for $169. I think the PA-63 in .32acp had a different name, so did the .380 version I believe. FEG did make a version of it though.
