In a nut shell.....the 938 will not eat the cheapo White box Winchester from Wally world. FTE about every other round.

Good news: Ran 100% with 50 Golden Sabers and 50 Gold Dot and 25 hydra shock. I like the gun a lot.

Not the best news: It fits perfectly in any holster designed for the HK P7. I have a P7 and an Alessi holster for my P7M8 and below is the fit. Also, tried a different leather holster at the range designed for P7 and it was a perfect fit. I am a happy camper.:D

Very nice, I am in the market for either a 239 or the 239. leaning toward the .380 version

Recoil is about like a PM9 but not a sharp as a Rohabaugh R9......it's a non issue to me....manageable.

Been casually browsing for a slim single stack 9 for a long time (it is single stack right?) Ambi controls?
How does it compare sizewise to 9mm Kahr?

Single stack....yes....7+1

Ambi safety ......yes

I have the PM9....I like this better...if you want to go DA...then PM9
Sig is slimer.

An acquaintance of mine bought one and had to send it back right away. The trigger pull measured out at something like 14 pounds! :what: He is confident it will shoot well with a reduced trigger pull. No feed problems reported yet but limited rounds fired. I'm looking forward to shooting it.

Duke - a $3,000 comparison? Really? If you want "pretty" versions of the Sig 938, they have those too.

Less than 3 grand....I'm just jerking his chain:D

I don't believe a BG deserves to be shot with a pretty gun:)

My P938 at this time doesn't like WWB either. FTE.
So I shoot American Eagle which is comp to WWB in price. No FTE in at least 150 rounds. Shot 115 gr to 147 gr defensive rounds down range. Did have one FT Load from slid stop release. HP caught on the ramp. Hand releasing the slide cured that problem.
Do like this one. As soon as my 7 rounders get in, this one will be my carry pistol. Will retire the P238 to the safe. :what:

I'd be very interested in hearing any other thoughts you have of how it compares to the PM9 and as well as the the P238. I have a Mustang but am considering purchasing either a PM/CM9 or the 938.

Just one opinion of course, but I own most of the pocket carries. Had a Seecamp, but that just too much recoil for me. Had a Kimber Solo, but after 2 trips back to factory and a new gun, just could not get it to function, your experience may be different.

Of these, I plan on carrying the P938.

Just a follow up on the P938 failure to eject WWB ammo....ran 50 rds of Federal 115 through that bugger this 4th July night and she didn't even hicup....I am a happy camper.:D

Going to replace the Rohrbaugh R9 for the Sig to carry. The Sig has less felt recoil and has night sight where the R9 has a stiff recoil and no sights.

I bought the extreme, I like it a lot.

As other have said, it doesn't like WWB, but runs flawlessly with Independence ball ammo, all Speer ammo 115gr and up (regular and +P), All Hornady from 115gr on up (regular and +P). I have about 350 rounds of Speer and Hornady and 150 rounds of independence with no issues. I figure it's a CC gun so all i will have in it are the self defense rounds, not WWB so i'm happy.

As far as the WWB goes in the P939 when I have the time in the next month or so I'm going to try another box in this pistol. Been busy this summer so have not had the time to go shoot much. Want several hundred more of anything but WWB down range, then we will give it another chance, just for fun.
