Excellent company to do business with and have been for many years.

Always one of my first choices when looking for gun-related products.

Great Company to do business with!

Get a C&R FFL and their dealer discounts will quickly pay back the C&R license fee.

My only complaint is backorders -- you get charged extra shipping for back orders so only order in-stock stuff, or only order what is on backorder.

If you have a C&R you get a discount, which amounts to practically no shipping costs. If you order much, the C&R is worth every penny, and other places like Brownells honor it also. But the frosting on the cake is, you can get C&R guns sent to your door.

I just placed an order with Grafs - total with shipping was $172. Exact same order from Midway would have been $186.

And, Grafs gave me a free t-shirt.

I don't think Midway is trying as hard as they used to.

$14.00 and a t-shirt doesn't mean they aren't trying "as hard as they used to".

It reallly depends on what you buy and when. Plus, Midway sells a lot more stuff.

Midway isnt always the cheapest and their shipping is sometimes a bit high but they carry a vast inventory of products which makes it convenient to shop there.

Larry always sends me a personal email when my order has been placed thanking me.:)

BTW Just 2 weeks ago I purchased some Cerakote from Brownell's. A bottle that's the size of what Aspirin comes in. The box it arrived in was appx 15"x10"x10" and shipping was $16.

I've only ordered twice from them, but those were within the last few months, and shipping was very timely. In fact, the last order arrived 2 days sooner than their estimate. I'm careful not to order anything that's on back order so I can avoid the additional shipping charges. I only know about that from you guys....thanks much. I've called them for clarification on some items and the customer service person was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I like the company so far.

I find their shipping charges to be kind of on the high side. Because of that, I wait until I need a bunch of stuff so I can make the most of the shipping costs. If the shipping costs were more reasonable, I'd probably order more frequently.

I have used Midway many many times always pleased! O

Over 25 years ago they never charged handeling and shipping i used to buy all my gun related stuff from them, then they got greedy and started charging shippng and handeling i have been useing midsouth and gafts for years

I like ordering from Midway, except I usually find something I didn't know I needed, and forget something I did. Then I go back to order that, and find more stuff I didn't know I needed... Also, Mr. Potterfield seems like someone I would enjoy shooting with for an afternoon. Nice selection, fast shipping, thumbs up in my book.

I've sworn off cheaperthandirt except when I buy at the local, non-affiliated Cheaper Than Dirt Guns store. Their multiple prices from multiple warehouses with multiple shipping charges are ridiculous.
Midway, OTOH, is consistently great to deal with. Great selection, fast shipping, and lots of status updates keep me coming back even if they aren't the cheapest on an item.

$ 7,196,132.31 That was the total customer round-up contributions Midway has sent to the NRA as of a few minutes ago. I am proud to have contributed a small chunk of that, and I encourage all others to do the same. Yea, you may save a dollar or two once in awhile, but in order to win this war we have to contribute to where it does the most good. I have spoken to Mr. Potterfield on the phone some years back, and was impressed with his company's service. I will continue to be a customer. I have fifty-three invoices going back to 1998, the first year I started saving them. I have had much better customer service with them than most any other.

I've been buying from Midway for a lot of years. Shipping is expensive, but like others have said, quick.

Only one time have I been unhappy with a purchase from them. They had a special on soft rifle cases. I bought 2 of them and they looked like just what I needed. The first time I took them outside and left them in the sun while I shot my rifles, they stunk when I took them in the house. I don't mean they had a bad odor, they stunk to high he!!.

On the other hand, I ordered a holster from them once. It came and was left handed instead of right handed, but it had the correct part number on the package. I called customer service and talked to a very knowledgeable young lady. I explained the situation, and asked them to check their stock for the correct holster and let me know if they had a right handed one in stock. About an hour later she called back and said she went into the warehouse and personally checked the packaging and found that a batch of them had been mislabeled from the factory. She found one that was the correct side, and said "I shipped it out, and you should have it tomorrow". I asked her about returning the wrong holster, and she said to "just keep it for your troubles".

Outside of their shipping prices, I have been very pleased with their service. :)

A great company. And Larry Potterfield and his family are EXTREMELY generous benefactors of shooting sports, programs, and 2A causes.
I am a retired Chgo Police Officer, i still live in Chgo. I have sent my credentials to but Midway and CTD. Neither one will sell me ammo or 'high capacity mags"! I don't think either one of these company's " LOVES the second amendment"! I try not to give them my money. This nation of ours is turning into a bunch of capons IMHO. Porterfield forces his employees to join the NRA to work for him. ( big 2nd ammendment guy RIGHT!) There are no laws restricting ammo or Mag sales to Illinois residents (ammo with F.O.I.D.card) No, there are no gun stores in Chgo. But across the street in the suburbs there are, and they sell to us knowing we live in Chgo.

Here's how Midway treated me once. I ordered a set of 1" rings and some other stuff. Few weeks later, I bought a 30mm scope and 30mm rings from another supplier. I held on to those 1" rings for about a year. Midway sent me a something % off birthday gift. Time was about to run out of the % off, so I called Midway and told them I had some rings to return and asked if they would extend the gift for a few days while I returned the rings. They agreed, applied the gift to a new purchase, applied full value of the rings (MK 4 / ~$140) and sent me a 10-10 scale and new tumbler for very little out of pocket. That's hard to beat!
