Please look at these stickers and give your opinion.
http://www.karrisguns.com/catalog/product/7759383991a847a886573029041cd4f4

I sent a letter to the site and to the owner of the site. I have purchased and have recommeded this site to others, but I am considering a my own personal boycott of this site because of messages like this.

I sent a letter asking them to reconsider selling items that spread bad propaganda for gun owners, and giving bleeding heart gun haters ammo against us.

Do you agree that this is a bad message?

While I think the whole zombie thing has been way over done, I don't see any problem with the sticker.

Though some one who doesn't understand the international zombie symbol might not understand what is going on.

It takes all kinds. And it takes more than this to upset me. Not that I am going to rush out and buy zombie products.

Yeah at first glance, or far away, the zombie symbol just looks like bullet holes. So to the layman it may just be Man + Gun = Dead Guy.

I did not vote. I am neutral on it.

Those stickers get a big no from me. All they look like is man + gun = dead human being.... Not true by any stretch of the imagination, and not the message that I want to spread.

Sent from my HTC One X

It seems like they really failed on an attempt at a zombie sticker?

At first glance its a man plus a gun equals a man. But if you look the last man has a bio hazard sign on his chest. Thats all I can figure.

But ya, I dont think this sticker promotes Pos outlook on the gun community.

Edit to add:actually just noticed the label on the stickers is something to do with zombies. So deff a fail attempt at joining the zombie craze.

I agree its in poor taste.

That said, I do sometimes enjoy things like that - but in my own home. I'm not going to put it on my car etc etc.

BTW, has that gun store been in the news for something else? The name is familiar to me, and I don't know why it would be.

Supposed to be zombies, but I'd think they would try to make it look a LITTLE more like the classic zombie.

I had to zoom in to see the zombie symbol, all I saw at first was man + AR = dead man with bullet holes. So yeah...not a good execution (pun intended).

Your joking right??? or has this fad really gone that far?

the stickers are pretty stupid.

Looked like bullet holes till I read the comment saying it was a biohazard symbol.

Pretty stupid, but spend your money how you choose, right?

If it was more easily noticable that it was a zombie, it wouldn't have been that bad, although you can decide whether its stupid.

Of course, considering how many people thought it was a person at first, it is definitely stupid ;)

Despite all of the time I've spent on gun forums, I was entirely unaware that there was an internationally accepted "zombie symbol". As such, I see that poster as saying:

A man with an "assault" rifle equals another man dying. The dead guy looks like he has bullet holes on him, not a zombie symbol. Stupid poster, no real humor.

:mad:That's just the kind of sticker I don't want to see. Because you know how non gun onwers will interpret that.

I am unsure which is more idiotic;
that sticker ... or ... the fact that there apparently is an 'international zombie symbol'.
Are there also international symbols for werewolves, vampires, and Frankenstein monsters?
I guess I need to get out more...............
.

Ya, really bad. It just looks like man + AR = man with bullet holes falling down. Want to give the gun-owning community a bad rep? Want to paint us all as "assault rifle" wielding killers? Displaying these stickers would be a good way to do it.

But hey, this is America and if you can make a buck exploiting the latest fad people will certainly try.

I just sent them an email, if we can get enough people to do so we can get these removed.

I think the whole Zombie thing is childish and stupid. Associating real guns and ammo (Hornady) with video games is a bad idea.

If I saw the sticker somewhere I would believe it was something put out by the anti-gun people. Who is dumb enough to think that sticker is in any way pro gun.

I think that particular one is in poor taste but I wouldn't go as far as to boycott anyone selling it. Is what it is.
