Shooters Depot Lion Suppressor

I'm doing a bit of research into possibly getting a suppressor when taxes come in (well... paying for it anyway. It probably won't be in my hands for another 6-8 months after that).

Does anyone know anything about these suppressors?
Preferably someone with firsthand experience, or better yet someone that owns one.
I'm particularly looking at the 9mm models.

Well... I gotta say, the ONE thread (out of literally dozens) that I read about Shooters Depot was very interesting, to put it lightly. I think I'll save a couple hundred bucks and go with an Osprey when I'm ready to buy. I've heard nothing but good things about those, and they seem to be the quietest thing out there that won't require tall sights.

Of course I'll have to wait about 4 months to purchase (then even longer for the paperwork), so I'm willing to listen to others' opinions and experience first.

The can will be going on a 1911.

Do you know of anything quieter that is in the same or similar price range as the Osprey? Sound suppression is my primary concern, I just like the idea of being able to use the low profile novaks or trijicons that I'm used to on my 1911s - If I ended up getting something "fatter" I'm sure I could have the standard sights swapped out for tall ones, or have a bead silver soldered to the front/top of the can to give me an index for point shooting when the can is mounted.

It's a traditional round can, and sight through is going to be required for it, but if you want quiet first, consider the Ti-Rant.

I should say, if you don't mind the hassle of running WET, then the Osprey is a very viable choice. A little pulling gel makes the Osprey a much quieter can.

Pulling gel? I've heard of running them with distilled water or mineral oil, but what is pulling gel?
I had planned on running the can primarily wet - Dry only in an emergency (such as an intruder in my home - don't want to damage my childrens' hearing)
