Just picked up cz527 in 762x39, got myself a set of lee dies. Have some questions now.

I reload for 308 already can I use my 308 bullets? Will they not be as accurate because they are not .311?

I use a lot of varget and imr4895 any loads out there with these two powders? I have done some searching but can't find any. I mostly load different 150 gr bullets. Do have some 125 gr sp.

With my lee dies it comes with two decapping pins one is .307 and one is .310 I'm guessing if I'm reloading .308 bullets I use the .307 correct?

Any other hints or tips are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

No, the CZ uses a 311 bullet diameter. You *could* use the 308's but accuracy will be terrible.

Ok, the decapping pins are actually resizing mandrels. For your CZ you'll want to use the 310.

I can't find any loads using 4895, and I mainly use 4227.

I'll be honest, finding reloadable x39 brass is a chore. It's more efficient just to get some factory ammo and be done.

One more thing. Check your magazines for a burr inside where the hole is cut on the back. It caused my rounds to jack up at a 45 degree angle, preventing feeding. Just take something and file that rough spot off. Also don't be surprised if it doesn't touch off Wolf the first strike. The firing pin spring is very weak.

I've had good luck and accuracy loading .308 30-30 FN bullets in 7.62x39. They give 1 to 1.25 MOA results in my CZ 527. I think the bullets swage up to my CZ .312 bore diameter.

There are .311 bullets in 125 grain from Hornady that work really well. My best results was with AA1680. Good luck.
