Rpacker I just checked out the new accu shadow and it looks awesome! I wonder how it compares to the current shadow target. I am guessing the match stainless bushing should increase the accuracy.

The current shadow target has a fully adjustable sight while the accu shadow has hajo sight which is elevation only. I really like fully adjustable sights so for the addition of the new bushing and short reset trigger at an increase of $400 just isnt worth it to me.

Yeah, it's subjective for sure. Combined the bushing and short reset are a bit less to get done on my Shadow (which I'm having done now). The HAJO rear sight is supposed to be more reliable than the other style. I was told the side to side adjustment is the weak link. I don't think you could go wrong with the CZ SP01 Shadow Target though.

Having used and/or using several and varied types of 9mm autos , (Browning, CZ, Colt, S&W, Star, Jericho, SIG-Sauer, P-38Walther, P-08Luger, Lahti) without the slightest hesitation the SIG P-210 gets my vote.
(Forgot to mention Glock, H&K and Beretta)

I don't need something flashy or super expensive, until I get a couple thousand hours of shooting and a million rounds or so behind me I don't see myself being more accurate than a long barrel competition version of the M&P, Glock, FNS or XD with trigger job and target sights. M&P9 Pro with full Apex Tactical trigger work and Sevigny sights would be my first choice.

I own all these. If your after real target performance then switch the Allround for the Competition and the BHP for the competition model or a custom BHP (the standard off the shelf BHP really is not all that great)

The top 3 would be the two Sigs and the Trojan and it really is hard to pick a winner between them as they will all shoot sub 1" groups at 25m.

My idea of the ultimate 9x19 target pistol is the Heckler & Koch USP Match. If I could find one, I'd buy it! Unfortunately, they were discontinued in the late '90s. It's endorsed by "The Tomb Raider!" :D

I have one and while its possibly still my favourite 9mm its far from the most accurate that I own.

Other here. CZ 85 Combat. Shoots very well in my hands & others who have used it liked it.

I am almost definitely going to purchase the shadow target due to that i can use it as a range/target pistol and also home defense. I figure it has a high cap mag, is know to be very reliable, i can mount a light on it for home defense, and i wont need to spend any extra money to set it up the way i will want it. Home defense wasn't in the cards when i started this thread but i dont really have a good hd pistol by my bed and i feel the shadow target will be perfect along with a great range pistol.

I have pretty much all the high end 9mms. My favorite for range use is the S&W 952.

I'd vote for the XDm 5.25/ trigger kit, I haven't shot a P210(someday) so can't compare.
I wouldn't get a Beretta, they take $$$ just to get to shoot good and a reasonable trigger, plus try and sell them, I have several and have to give them away, nobody wants them.

Here are some of my high end target 9mms from Sig, S&W, Korth, Wolf, Sphinx, HK, and Pardini.

I actually shoot the S&W 952 the best, I believe.

As far as 1911s are concerned, I only buy them in 45ACP. Its just my preference. :)
