Well made rifle. MSRP is around $1050 to $1100. If you don't already know the story... Windham is made by the "old" Bushmaster talent. Good company, good gun, good bolt and barrel... fair store price.

They also have a lifetime warranty

It's well made, accurate, good looking, just a darn nice rifle.

PSA is hard to beat in the $800 range. I'd pass on WW until more is known about them.

Yes, there are better rifles for the money. PSA for one. The only problem with PSA is their ungodly long shipping times. I ordered the upper and parts for my Dad's build at the end of September, and they still haven't shipped it.

What more is there to know? Freedom Group bought out Bushmaster, tried their best to ruin the name then moved production. The former owner bought back the facilities, re-hired those employees who didn't relocate and commenced producing good rifles again under the Windham banner. I've seen them in person and I want one.

Wonder how Bushmaster got a bad rep? Same way Remington and Marlin did: Freedom Group.

Old Bushmaster was once considered in the top three AR makers. I would not hesitate to buy one made by the same people again. The lifetime warranty is a plus too.

Yes... and wise too.

The earlier Bushmasters that you and I remember were fine... just fine.

Windham isn't bad.

I would compare them to Spikes, Smith and Wesson, and Palmetto State Armory if that is your price range.

No, I bought a Armalite when they were the only makers of ARs, that makes me OLD if not OLDER. (LOL)

I love AR10s mainly the real AR10s (Armalites) recently bought me a Bushmaster 308 ORC (optics ready carbine) it is marked BFI, Windham Me. the lower is also marked with LR308 which used to be DPMS marking. I also got an old Bushmaster BAR10 I really like. knowing the work Bushmaster used to do, I know Windham Arms got to be a good weapon.
