Lord, we come to you asking above all things for peace and reconciliation for the families of those involved as twenty of the dearest, most innocent and defenseless of your creations have been ripped from their arms by an evil that thrives in its total absence of you. Our hearts are stricken with grief for those who must continue through mortal life without the presence of their little ones. I pray that you will comfort those who are weeping over empty beds tonight, that you will embrace them and remind them that you suffered the same loss for them and their little ones so that they might be reunited someday in eternity with him.

Come quickly Lord Jesus, that it may happen all the sooner for those who are suffering. Amen.

God, I would have readily endured anything including the loss of this life you have given me to take down this depraved man and save the lives of these precious little ones, and there are many assembled here like me. Please, if it be your will put those of us who are ready and willing in positions to do so. Amen.
