What do the fellow members look like?

So I am relatively new around here but starting to get a taste of some of the regulars ideas, likes and dislikes. But I don't know what anyone looks like. Didn't see a way to post a photo on my profile page so wondering if a thread similar to the "Introduce Yourself" could be established for people to post photos of themselves so we get some face recognition. Maybe pictures that show us doing some of our other hobbies and interests too. If this idea has been tried or is not "High Road" material a moderator can feel free to delete this thread. If it is O.K. just give a nod and I don't mind posting up some photos.
 
Especially for someone who's been here for a while, and can kinda tell going into some threads "oh, this user is going to post in this thread and they're going to take this position", this would be interesting.
 
I don’t think that avatars are necessary. I actually like the utilitarian streamlined interface. Thanks for weighing in on this, Jorg. I didn’t know that we even had a picture thread.
 
Heh, post #17 in the thread linked, is technically me, but looks nothing like me these days.
 
I just moved a couple of posts into the other thread. I'm going to close this one out to keep things from getting too confusing.
