A long time ago a cigar box was the perfect place for odds and ends and trivia that while not usually valuable was still worth retaining. Well, I'd been asking about a certain cigar box for a while. It had been passed from relative to relative and I thought it was gone. But I was wrong.:D (1911 Colt, original finish and magazines. Mfg year 1918)

That must have been one humongous supply of cigars for that large of a box. The 1911 is pretty nice too. I haven't seen that style of ammo packaging for a long time either.

Pretty nifty cigar box! Perhaps you could make some sort of insert and cover it so that all three items would have their own custom fit in the box. Not sure about the date but I would guess sometime around the 1930's/1940's for the Remington ammo.

I would cut a piece of glass to put in the top so no one could touch it! Beautiful! Being that it was passed down just makes it that much more enjoyable :)
