Ok looking up stuff on airguns I ran across this gem:

I want one. Too bad I don't have a place to shoot it. Would this be legal in Illinois?

At 600fps, it is not considered a "firearm" in Illinois, so it probably is legal.

I would have to check for caliber. In some areas anything above .177 is considered a firearm. That sucks... :cuss:

Well according to http://www.pyramydair.com shipping restrictions this wouldn't be legal due to being over .18 caliber in Illinois. Drat I hoping to get one. Oh well I guess settle for this:

Great fun. I bought the little Umarex Steel Storm FA BB gun from Pyramyd Air last summer.....for the grandkids to play with. Neat little shooter and at $90 it is quite affordable.

Yeah I'm temped to get the Steel Storm myself. Some blog I ran across show pics from the SHOT show showing the "Steel Force" which the Storm with a stock and looking like short barrel M4.

Anybody have one of these?
