Watching Lords of War on NatGeo. It's that Sean guy from Pawn Stars. People bring him guns he talks a little history about it. Then they sell them at his auctions. Pretty simple and fun.

This is a good show. Its about the items, their history and what they will sell for. There's little added drama that most reality type shows have.

I just discovered this show last night as I waited for some dental work pain meds to scoot me off to La-La Land. I was really intrigued.

Folks bring in some cool old weapons, experts evaluate/appraise said weapon, weapon is either rejected or accepted into auction. If the the weapon doesn't reach the appraised amount then the appraiser doesn't get 15% of the cut.

Really simple and really interesting. Nice history and information and it's fun to watch them shoot some of these old warhorses:evil:

thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DVR set. I always likes Sean on pawn stars, looking forward to checking this out. Thanks!

I'm currently watching the Outdoor channel and Shooting USA waiting for Lords of War to come on at 2100 on Nat Geo.:D

Except for the:
"We must test fire it.
If it doesn't fire, it's worth only half as much, and we won't even sell it" BS.

Seriously!!

They did it with a nice old 94 Winchester the other night.

At worst, if a nice old 94 Winchester won't fire?
They & the TV crew dry-fired it for the TV show filming too many times and broke the dang firing pin!!

That really doesn't de-value it by half or more.

It's just another totally fake reality show with staged sellers. The one guy going on and on about how the Kel-Tec bullpup was the best designed rifle on the market was annoying.

there was that one odd dude with the MAC-10.....same guy who sold some rockets or something on American Guns, that show with the family in CO that owned the gun store.

MAKster beat me to it, I was starting to find it intresting until he rambled on about the K-T rifle, being the best designed weapon EVER ..... LOL

Some of the other stuff they come up with is cool though, I was listening to it from the other room, and thought I heard that WWII spotlight go for $20K ???
THAT was a little hard to believe,, but maybe if it stills works,, IDK maybe thats what they are worth ??
