1991, young and dumb jarhead home on leave needs beer money to chase girls.
1991 young and dumb jarhead pawns an Astra .41 mag Terminator snubby for $275.00

Young and dumb jarhead spends all his money and has a couple great memories of the girls he met.

1992 to yesterday old, fat Marine veteran finally finds an Astra Terminator in .44 mag for sale in good shape. Money, which he now has wheelbarrows full of, is paid, gun is now in fat old Marine's mitts.

I regretted selling that gun for 22 years. Now, I have one back again. I am complete again.

These are great revolvers. Shoot nice and handle real well. they take K frame round butt grips.

Just thought I'd share...

Good question! Let's just say that I definitely paid for this in 2013 dollars :)

Wow! That's really cool! I didn't even know such existed! Very good looking gun. Congrat's! :)

At least you didn't have to give up the 1991 memories.:)

glad to hear that you are complete again. :)

that is one nice looking revolver by the way! sure looks like a lot of fun!

Great story. And getting caught with that gun from 1991 back in your hands will likely cause you a lot less trouble than getting caught with one of those girls from 1991 back in your hands. :)

I remember reading about a blued short barreled Astra in .44 Magnum (called the Terminator), but was not aware they made one in .41 Magnum as well. Nice reconnection after so many years.

Looks like that Marine and the pistol gained weight.:D

I don't think I could own that and not mess with practice engraving and polishing. Nice.

That is some funny stuff! Yep. If I had to do it all over again, I reckon I would have... girls are awful fun when you're in your twenties.

I shot a box of magnums through her today. Quite accurate for a short barrel. I made sure I was a couple lanes down from everyone else. Even with plugs and muffs, the blast from that little cannon will rattle your fillings. Recoil is not a problem, but the concussion is quite exhilarating.

Very nice. I want an Astra in .45 Colt. My 6" .357 and 6" .44 need company. Great guns.
