companies need to support our fight

These companies should continue shipping as normal until the April deadline. All ammo and gun companies should refuse to sell anything to New York State Police. Yes, the group of law enforcement that watches over Cuomo. I'm sure most law enforcement guys are not in favor of how the new law was written. LaRue tactical made a clear statement and I like how they went about it. This is a company that is standing up for our rights. It just makes no sense why they won't sell any mag to NY state. For those of you that don't live in NY, beware, this **** could happen anywhere.

I really feel bad for you New Yorkers. That place has gone stark raving mad. This might be a time to consider retirement to gun-friendly states of your choice.

I've not seen such legislative idiocy in 57 years on the planet, as is in NY.

Other states are trying to follow the idiocy, thanks to NY.

My sympathies to you in the Northeast. I lived in Annapolis, MD and frequented Baltimore and D.C.

I could always tell the NY vehicles from afar with NY tags. They were bashed, beaten, and looked like they had been used as bumper cars.

Man, I'm glad I'm back to my home state!

How the hell does cutting off the supply of parts and ammunition to gun owners in New York advance an RKBA agenda? Do you not think that every gun owner in the state would vote against these draconian measures? We are held hostage by the city, and now our own allies think it prudent to deny us arms or supplies? Focus on the politicians and the anti's! With friends like you people who needs enemies!

I wish the gun makers would take a stand and refuse to sell any products to any governmental entities in New York. I also wish they would put some real teeth into their distributions contracts so that any distributor or dealer that does is immediately cut off. I also wish Remington and Henry (and any other makers in NY) would pack up their stuff and abandon it as a lost cause. Let the rats in the cage consume each other while we watch across the border.

Are their any handgun makers in NY besides Kimber?

I think J&G is doing the smart thing. Bloomberg is sueing several gun stores in other states because his subjects have purchased guns there. He would certainly go after J&G if some foulup in shipping got a delivery in after the law comes into effect. While I feel for the people of NY, I certainly think J&G is making the smart move regarding covering their posterior.

As others have stated; This is the time for every manufacturer, distributor and vendor to stand together and tell New York to go screw.

So the millions of us caught behind enemy lines in NY are left to our fates while you provide comfort and aid to our enemies?

You can do as you wish, but I am going to take the high road - if you find yourself in a situation similar to what we are suffering through, I will try to come to your aid as best as I can.

"Are their any handgun makers in NY besides Kimber?"

The Rohrbaugh shop is about a mile from where I'm sitting.

Since Bloomberg is okay with trying to bully gun businesses by going after their banks, I think gun companies, should refuse service to anybody in NY that isn't a civilian. That keeps the people armed and thumbs their nose at the NY government.

Glock and the rest of them need to hear from all of us NOT to sell, or not to sell over 7 round mags, to gov't agencies in NY.

Keep the pressure up and find out who truly stands with us.

I think it is fine for the companies to do as they wish. I just think that they should sell to the private citizens but not to any L.E or govt. agency in the state of NY.

Not to take from this thread !! On the other side of the US, Magpul is going to shutdown and pull out of Colorado if the 4 silly gun proposals pass in our legislature, pending votes. It was in today's Denver Post. The local company, Erie, Colorado, will close down and consider moving to Wyoming or Montana, they said if they moved, it will effect 18 other in-state businesses also, plus the state will lose $80 mil projected over the next year. They were in the process of expanding their facility, thats out the door now.

I live in this 'state' and ---

I live in NYS and I hope to hell that ALL guns and magazines are no longer sold or shipped to ANY in the state.

that means that the police around the whole state will not have ANY magazines for the millions of Glocks that are in holsters or armorys.

Since the "law" will remove ALL Glocks,Sig's,Berrettas, and any Ruger as well as any semi auto handgun from ALL dealers shelves as of April,I cannot imagine the producers and seller wanting to bother with any sales left after the sales to citizens are GONE.

Remember that the police agencys buy only a few times per decade.

We the people buy ALL the time and often.

Let the gov. see the crap that he was sown.

The problem is that the pompous elites exempt themselves from the draconian laws they subject the peons to.

"They" won't be affected by the 7-rd mag limit, as they'll exempt themselves from that oversight soon enough.

I applaud the companies that won't sell anything to official NYS entities. I only hope that the various gun/ammo companies will stand firmly together in that regard.

The ones who voted in the politicians who did this are probably darned near dancing in the streets over this thing passing. There are a lot of people - voters - who are out there and who are VERY anti-gun. Its not a politician only thing. If the gun people in New York are outnumbered by them at the polls what do you expect them to do? It's not like they can vote "harder" than they did last time.
They could just vote multiple times like Obama supporters did.

Glock is based in Austria with worse laws than Chicago, they sell guns to Australia and Britain.... Do you think they care about NY?

Austrian gun laws aren't that bad. In fact, you can even get a CHL there. I suspect US civilians make up a HUGE portion of Glock sales.

If we could gain the support of prostitutes and liquor salesmen, we could really put some serious pressure on NYS lawmakers.
