As my collection is starting to grow, I have decided to purchase a RSC. My wife and myself went to our local safe dealer and geezzzz even safes are all picked over. All that's available are the large bunker size safes, but I dont have $4-$5000.00 to spend on one.

Went to the Farm Show in Louisville on Thursday, 2nd day of a 4 day show. There's a gun safe dealer who shows up each year (and at the State Fair too). I didn't count how many he had - maybe 20 or so? - but I believe a good half of them had "sold" signs then, certainly seemed a much higher % than I can recall from prior shows. He sells a line of personally branded AMSECs - very nice RSCs, but not cheap. He's typically much higher than what one might find online for an AMSEC branded one, and he doesn't include delivery either.

Check the Firearm Accessories section here for quite a number of threads on gun safes/RSCs. I did a lot of info searching/reviewing/looking before I finally bought one online and shipped.

Thanks Powderkeg, I overlooked the accessories section earlier, and since gone through that thread reading some good post. Since I visited our local safe dealer, which they carry American Security and Liberty, I have been scouring the brouchers and internet about RSC'S and I have settled on getting a American Security. But will have to wait till they restock their show room.

If your collection is worth even close to that (and I have one or two at that level), then it is cheap
