THe more laws Obama and his chronies come up with, the more I love my BP Revolvers!

Me too. He's trying to impose all his stupid laws on us, but he's too stupid to think a .44 could be used to kill someone. :D Six shots of pinpoint accuracy and sledgehammer force they can't screw with even in the "You can't have it" State! :D

Being 19 I'm still a second class citizen. I can't own a 1911 otherwise I'd surely shoot somebody according to the psychotic criminals that think they own me. They also think a cap and ball Colt is a toy and nobody was ever killed with one. ;) And a handgun or handgun frame made before 1899. Love my power tools new and old and I'm not giving them up.

I agree but don't let word get out that our BP tools are effective! And don't become complacent. I have no doubt that some liberal (insert obscenity here) will propose banning squirt guns at some point.

don't get too comfortable..I can remember back in the 70's you had to sign for purchase of black powder..which is still considered as an explosive by the ATF..as of now..up to 50# is exempt..but that would be easy enough to change!

May be carrying one concealed before it's all over. I do appreciate the old cap and ball during the ammo shortage, though. I usually plink with .22, but cap and ball, though slower, is more fun. :D And, I have used a cap and ball as a house gun when I had nothing else. I was in college at the time and broke. That's where I got interested in cap and ball, a room mate had a ROA that was awesome. Now I have one. :D

In good ol' New York State, we have to register them and put them on our permits just like a Glock .40. I think one of the most intriguing aspects of black powder is that powder can be made pretty easily with a tumbler from Harbor Freight, and ingredients readily available at Home Despot or Lowes. Caps, of course, are more difficult to manufacture; but a flinter is immune to availablity of components.
