Del-Ton Inc. sent me their Echo 316 MOE OD carbine for a review. It's the first time I have had a chance to shoot one of their AR-15s. It is solidly built, accurate and reliable. I wonder how much the heavy barrel contributed to the accuracy versus a gov't or M4 profile ?

I had a Del-Ton that I sold back in late November (oh, if only I were psychic). I wish now that I hadn't, because I kept the AR that I built (and sold in January).

Had mine for a few years now. It wears the same furniture. Never a hiccup. Very comforting to have at arms reach with all of the multiple actor home invasions we've had lately.

So how much does this DTI model cost? Did you buy it? Why did you go with carbine length gas on 16" over midlength gas? Milspec or comspec diameter receiver extension? For about the same price why not buy PSA instead?

Not sure how much they are going for especially under these frenzied times. Commercial buffer tube was on this one but their site states they are now offered with mil-spec. I actually prefer mid-length but I test what they send. Del-Ton seems to make a quality product and it's certainly accurate enough.
