You've seen my daughter's pink/purple tigerstripe AR no more.

She decided on new colors.

The folks at Predator Custom Shop ordered Cerakoat Ridgeway Blue and Zombie Green just for her and added a new riser for her Aimpoint and put a new Magpul stock on it. They commented they just realized they'd built a Buzz Lightyear AR, but she reminded them that it would have had Joker Purple to do that.

We picked it up today and took it out and rezeroed the Aimpoint this afternoon.

Blue and green? Now you've done it. It is no longer an Evil Black Rifle and therefore not scary. Because of that it is also no longer considered an assault weapon.

Good job!

Hso, when did you first introduce your daughter to the shooting sports? My wife gave birth to a baby girl 2 days ago now and I cannot wait to have a range buddy!

Nice, but don't you know how hard it is to handle an AR? She needs a 12 guage double barrel. /sarcasm

She's had her AR since she was 6, but has been really shooting since she was 8. My wife used to joke that it was our most expensive firearm since it was a fully customized .22lr upper that had the barrel turned down to a "spaghetti" barrel and a carbon fiber fore-end to keep it ultra light(a pretty rare thing 10 years ago).

My daughter decided it was time for a new color scheme and she picked this (and, yes, I shuddered at the choice as well [I suggested Joker Purple and Zombie Green]).

I love it. Very neat and awesome to be able to give such a fun and awesome gift. My youngest is a video game nut, and of course one of his favorite things is how many games will let you customize the color of your weapons. He asked one day if we could zebra stripe his little marlin 60. So in my safe is a pistol gripped scoped zebra striped marlin. Not exactly my tastes, but he likes it, which is what really matters.
