I ordered a 6 inch barrel for my Glock 20 from Lone Wolf on Jan 29th. After two month, I received it today, inserted a magazine full and attempted to charge the pistol. It will not feed even one round. I tried several makes and bullet weights of factory ammo. I will not feed a single round, not even close. After what I went through (two months of waiting), I will not purchase anything else from LWD. I emailed customer service to ask to return it and haven't received an answer yet. I'm sure it will be a problem because I ordered it blind marked (this was not done correctly either) and black oxide finished.

I should have bought the Glock barrel.

Its probably a worn out spring in your magazine. Try replacing you mag spring and you will probably be pleasantly surprised.

I've got a LW 6.5" threaded barrel for my Glock 17L and a 5.5" threaded 9mm conversion barrel for my Glock 22 and both just dropped in and have worked perfectly with my suppressor.

Everybody messes up from time to time, give them a chance to make it right.

I've had zero problems with my 6.2" threaded LW Glock 20 barrel. Same with my LW Glock 17L 6.2" threaded barrel and LW Glock 20 6" .357Sig barrel.

Admittedly the chamber is tighter and is advertised as being so. But how is hanging up?? On the ramp area or??

I agree, LW can be slow but they will provide satisfaction.

My personal experience with Lone Wolf was such that I opted not to use their barrel. Instead I ordered a barrel from KKM and was satisfied to the extent to be a repeat customer. Another barrel manufacture that I’ve used is Bar-Sto. Their barrels require minor fitting. The KKM barrels are true drop in replacements for the OEM barrels.

I ordered a 357 Sig barrel from LWD for a Glock 27. It was engraved as a 357 barrel, but was actually a .40. The owner didn't believe me at first, but LWD did replace the barrel. I gave it away later, bought a Glock factory barrel.

Sorry to hear that, see if they will work something
Out with you. From what I have heard about them
And my experience with their products, no complaints.
Last year I bought a 6" for my G20, took it to
MagnaPort and had it ported and crowned. Nice tight
Groups, no functioning problems. Looking forward to
Using it for deer or boar. Good luck! 10mm is a very
Versatile round.

Can you manually feed a round into the barrel? If so, it's likely to be recoil spring problems.

You didn't order (or get) a CONVERSION barrel by accident did you, so that its for the wrong caliber?

I have a LW 9mm conversion barrel for a Glock 23, and it's been flawless.

I have lone wolf 40-9mm conversion barrell and love it... never a problem. are there 2 calibers on the top of the barrell? if so, you have a conversion barrel... Johnny

I have a 9" Lone Wolf barrel for my 17L.

I don't like the way the Lone Wolf logo grinds the finish off the inside of my slide but I haven't had any problems with how it functions.

I have owned 2 lone wolf barrels, neither were satisfactory. One would not feed factory ammo at all. On glock talk there were a lot of people complaining about the barrels, the owner came on and basically insulted everyone there, called names and was in general a jerk. Head over there to the reloading forum and look for the locked thread with lone wolf in the subject. Its a long thread that really opens your eyes to who you are doing business with at lone wolf.

I sold both barrels I had by them and bought better quality from someone else. They dont make them anyway. They are made in korea and have the chamber finished here in America. Spend the extra bucks, buy quality.

I bet they'll make it right. This is a busy market right now and there are lots of retailers that order huge lots of them. I'd say with all the craziness, a two month wait wasn't too bad.

My experience is just the opposite of yours. I've bought seven, sold one (40-9 conversion because I bought a G26) and now have only six: G19 (2), G23 (2), G20, G27,

I've used mine with hand loaded ammunition mostly, and I'd guess the fewest fired through any one barrel to be a couple of thousand. They've performed flawlessly with all loads and bullet types.

I couldn't be happier.

I‘m sorry about your experience hopefully they will help correct it.
I have 4 lonewolf barrels including a extended one for my G29 and they work as good as the Glock factory barrel does. By the way COuntzer0, I love that nine inch barrel if I ever get another 17 that will be a first add on..

Any type of "drop in" barrel made by someone other than the manufacturer of the gun can have the problem you are seeing. If you want 100% function and accuracy do not waste your time with a drop in barrel. You may get lucky. Or not. Buy an oversized barrel and have it fitted.

I hope Lone Wolf can make it work for you. My 40-9 conversion Lone Wolf barrel has been great but I bought it used.
Good luck and stay safe,
Mike

I bought oneLW 40-9 for a G23. Worked so well I bought another for our G27. Not one single failure running anything from hot self defence rounds, to WWB, to various reloads in either barrel.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ same experience as Tinker

G22 40-9
G27 40-9

Work great - changed nothing else**...use orig extractor, and 40 cal mags with 9mm rounds

**never would I carry for defense this way, but for training and range shooting, I'm a LW fan

Bought a LW Barrel for my Glock 17. When I first got it and put it in it was locking when racking the slide. Had to force it just a bit then it would slide back. After a few charges of the slide it started to work fine. I attributed it to tight tolerance and new barrel.

Since then though I have put through over 1000 rounds with no issues. I use this barrel for my lead reloads and have been very satisfied.

So the OP has only one post on this website and and it's to tell everyone to avoid Lonewolf barrels based upon his one experience. OP also expects an answer to an email on the same day he receives the barrel, common sense would be to make a phone call to customer service or talk to a tech if one wants an immediate response.

I've experienced excellent service from LW, including a late night call from a tech just before Christmas. I have two G20s that have LW barrels, thousands of rounds w/o incident, they are both reliable enough to be carried and they also have performed on 4 legged vermin when needed.

Hopefully the OP will show the same eagerness to post after he phones customer service and resolves his personal problem.

Hopefully you get the problem resolved. Since you only have 1 post on here, most people, myself included, expect you to be new to guns. If that's the case, hopefully you've tried just dropping a bullet into the barrel to make sure it's the right caliber. I'm guessing it's the wrong caliber. Different ammo manufacturers shouldn't matter; a 10mm is a 10mm regardless of the stamp on the brass. Nonetheless, good luck, hope you get it straightened out.

I hope the OP knows better than to "drop a bullet into the barrel!"

I'm satisfied with my G20 LWD barrel. I'm a lot more suspicious of the OP than of LWD.

My only Lone Wolf purchase to date is a .40 S&W barrel for my G31 .357 Sig. The fit and function are perfect, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.
