I got bored -

I know it's not exactly a rifle anymore (well, legally it is - 22" barrel, 32" OAL), but that's how it started.

I still have an unmolested rifle stock for this.

The stock needs stained and finished still, but I thought I'd post a pic. Anyone else got a unique custom job? I'd love to see something other than the usual plain jane wood stock or that junky "dragunov" polymer crud people get from Cheaper Than Dirt.

Mercy! Mercy!

What a waste of a perfectly good rifle. :barf:

Hey, I still have an untouched stock for it!

I know it's odd looking, but it's actually quite fun to shoot. Gives shooting 12ga hulls off the target stand at 50ft a whole different kind of challenge.

I *KNOW* I'm not the only one here that likes odd and unique things!

I'm looking for a 16" Glenfield Model 75C to put in this "stock" for better balance. Anyone know of one?

Hey Rail,,,,

Why not?

Have fun with it, sure looks like it would be a challenge to shoot.

More fun for you! Don't let all the Poo Poos bother you.

It has the curve of a dueling pistol. Maybe you could add a ball to the bottom of the pistol grip.

I went a different way:

I like yours. I saw that thread before.

I don't have the tools or the skill to do something like your adjustable cheekpiece yet, but I'm getting there.

I was thinking about some sort of addition to the bottom of the grip for a "palm rest" that would also aid in balancing the VERY front heavy pistol.

I put about 50rds through it in this configuration today, and while it did make hitting 12ga hulls at 25-30ft offhand a challenge, it was quite fun.

That would be an awfully front heavy 22 pistol!

VERY. Like I mentioned before, I'm looking for a 16" barreled action (or the whole gun) from a Glenfield 75C and I think that having a barrel 6" shorter than the 22" on there now would make a BIG difference in balance and handling. As it is right now, it's not really feasible to fire one handed.
