Shooter at Bush Intercontinental confronted

Bringing an AR in public and shooting himself when confronted is beyond one's imagination. What was he trying to do? To go kill others or himself?
 
Latest I read was that a suicide note was found. Suicide by cop.

Edit - Attempted suicide by cop. Appears he shot himself when confronted, and beat cops to it.
 
Will this be another "evil black rifle" scare tactic or shown for the truth that gunmen are cowards when actually confronted by guns?

Not cowards for killing themselves. Actually, it is the practical and smart thing to do after committing such acts.
 
Waiting for the 6 30 local news to come up . I was sleeping when this thing happened. That Bush International Airport is one well guarded complex with Houston cops, Air Marshals, Border Patrol, TSAs , etc.
 
You want to do suicide by cop but then shoot yourself before the cops can shoot you, why get the cops involved in the first place? I guess if you are suicidal logic doesn't really get involved. Sad and stupid
 
He was a cop himself , right ? The reason why he was able to get inside with his AR?
