I've gotta admit that my first impression was something along the lines of:

My wife loves purple... And even her reaction was, "THAT'S ATROCIOUS!" I won't bother to argue that one with her. "Atrocious" doesn't even scratch the surface...

Maybe we should collectively buy it, then mercifully destroy it like they did that baseball a couple weeks ago in Chicago.

If it weren't for the chrome it would be OK. If the rest were still finished black I think it would still be loud but not so PAINFUL to look at. Whoever had it done, subtle was not in thier vocabulary.

that's NOTHING I have seen this disgrace to all things holy "in the metal" so to speak..... was in collector's for my "once every six months" dose of "God i just LOVE finding out what uninformed yuppies (or their current incarnation under a different name) will pay when they don't know better....

the bad thing is that that ugly MoFo was in a case with at least 5or 6 OTHER guns (a mix of 92FSes adn 1911 types i think) in similar or worse "atrocity attire"

That gun does remind me of all the hidiaous looking Paintball guns I saw when I've played paintball. I'd never waste the money on annodizing either on paintball guns or firearms, I know with paintball guns you can usually save $100-300 or more without getting annodizing. Would rather save the money to put towards my next purchase. Besides I like basic black anyway. To each is own...
